I am interested in preserving information about my ancestors, family and friends for the future generations. My main family lines are Franks/Phillips/Ingle/Martin. I am currently photographing and adding memorials for Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline, Rock Island County, IL.|
A special thank you to Angie for the transfer of my parents and Rebekah for the transfer of my maternal grandparents:
George "Willis" Phillips
Dora Elizabeth Franks Phillips
And thank you to someone I do not know for the transfer of my paternal grandparents:
William "Bill" Denton Martin
Patience "Effie" Ann Ingle Martin.
My Grandparents lived in Marion County, AL in the Pea Ridge Community. I have many fond memories of them. I was fortunate to have known all four of my grandparents and three of my great-grandparents.
And thank you to rebekah for the transfer of my Uncle Thomas Leonard Phillips who was killed in action in World War II.
I have kept records through the years, and have pictures I want to share. A photo tells a story. All photos I submit to findagrave are taken by me or handed down through my family. These photos may be used for your personal use.
I want to help other people find their family.
While searching cemeteries for my relatives, I have added memorials for people not related to me in hopes that family members will find them. If you are closer related than I, I will gladly transfer.
Those that have passed before us are more than a name and date. My goal is to have "meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it."
If only a year is shown on the headstone, dates are taken from the USSS Death Index . Information from obituaries is not always correct. If there are any mistakes, please let me know. I always appreciate and welcome additional information. If I have accidently created a duplicate, PLEASE let me know. If someone has added a photo that is of better quality, I will gladly delete mine.
Thank you to all who are dedicated to preserving our history.
If you have any questions, please contact me using the edit tab on any of the memorials that I manage or leave a message below.

Hi, I am sorry but I have been traveling and unable to answer your E-mail re: Bina Miller. Thank you for the parents information. I will add the census information to her info on Find-A-Grave and link her family. I am not a relative or friend but I had just photo'd the cemetery. My step-mother-in-law's daughter had married a Miller but I couldn't find a connection to this family. Again, thanks so much for the information.

Thank you very much. Kathy was my mom's little sister. My dearest Grandmother was so sad when she died. She died of cardiac failure. I should add a couple pictures of her, she was a very beautiful baby girl.
Thank you again, Kim

I added the info I have for the Grams. Thank you in advance for adding any pictures you have. I read your biography. I do many of the same things you do...for the same reasons...I'd like to see more people be able to connect to their families. I get excited when I am searching for info and find the info on find a grave. Sorry it took me several days...I don't get on the computer every day. Thanks again, Sheryl
|Terry Ellen Ferl||RE: Jesse A. Garver|
Thank you, Martha. By the way, your photograph is lovely.
I am distantly related to Jesse's wife through her Tennessee line. I would appreciate a transfer of Jesse's record since my Tennessee cousin and I are working on our family history.
Thank you for the obituary for Elizabeth Willard.

Thanks for the heads-up! Yes, this was a memorial I had put up. I hadn't heard of any cyber attack on F.A.G. What a mess! I guess I should take time to check out my other memorials too. Hope the Find A Grave people are working on better ways of protecting our genealogy information.

Hello Martha -
If you are not related to Henriette Rasmussen, could you please transfer her memorial page (& her husband, Christian's, too) to me? Aunt Yetta was my great-grandmother's sister.
Her memorial # is 96724529.

The Gentleman in question is a Family Member of Mine. Although I do not have a Headstone photo on this Memorial (As You have Pointed out), My Memorial has correct Info - including the Name ! Sometimes You have to Overlook the Date and Read the Correct Info Instead.
