I have lived in Massachusetts for all my life (so far), except for college - in Newton for about 20 years, and Newburyport for just over 40 years.|
I am relatively new at taking gravestone pictures but I'm getting the hang of it.
I have a family tree on Ancestry.Com which led me to Find A Grave. It has helped locate relatives and a special moment was Feb 2011 when someone in New York added a memorial for my great great grandfather, Harlow Martin Purple. We didn't even know where he was laid to rest.
That has given me a new outlook on Find A Grave and is why I'm willing to do photo requests and have added many memorials for people I don't even know.

I will look but I doubt that I have the photo or record of this. Reason being I do a lot of cemetery walking and take photos especially in those cemeteries that have not had a lot of documentation. I need to finish this cemetery. If they are family members I will save the photo. If they are not, once I post the photo, I delete it from my PC. I can save this request and once the weather gets better I can return to try and find what you are looking for.
Thanks for the updates :) Are you related? If so, I can transfer to you. I'm not related to him. I just saw the baby's stone and took the photo when I was there.

You are welcome. I don't think it is a matter of finding it..I think I am one of the few taking find a grave photos there but I have been unavailable for the past year and probably the one more willing to do the "research" in the office first.

|Spaceman Spiff||P.S. RE: Marie Bashaw|
Hi again, Robert.
If you haven't solved the mystery by this November, please feel free to contact me again and I will be happy to go to the library and look up Marie's obituary from 1974. If one exists, it might list her place of burial.
|Spaceman Spiff||Marie Bashaw|
You made a post yesterday on Susanna L. Parrish Allen's page with regard to Marie Bashaw. She contacted me because she no longer lives in Florida. Unfortunately, I'm only in Florida in the winters myself. However, I've offered a couple of comments on her page regarding your inquiry, if you'd like to go there and read them.
Thanks, and good luck!

You're very welcome. His son Francis is buried there as well - I have added that memorial & photo, too, in case you are looking for him.

I'm interested to find out if you are also descended from the Milk family. I see that you have taken over management of the memorial for Augusta Frances Milk (1844-1916) in Cayuga County, New York. I am writing a new book on the Milk-Milks family and always looking for new material and extended family.
|Kevin Arnold||Thoams Burlington|
Thomas Burlington married my great grandfather's sister, Caroline M Arnold. She was 2nd oldest of 4 children....Martha the oldest, then Caroline, then John and George. George was my great grandfather. I also have an ancestry page with all that info. I do not know Adam Arnold. Let me know if you need any more info.
|Vicky Melton||Adeliza J "Addie" Johnson|
Just dropping you a note - been doing research on the Cure family in Tioga & Schuyler. Addie is mentioned in a legal notice dated 11 Oct 1901 in the Watkins Express, as an heir of Amos Cure. Addie's parents were David Boardman Cure & Achsah Hubbell. Amos B Cure was a brother of David B Cure. Her brother, Andrew J Cure is also listed in the notice. Thanks for all you do for findagrave !
