Hey there-

The memorial in the subject line is for Alice G. Hebbard Bateman.

You want me to delete the photo on that memorial?

Thanks for the great job that you are doing. I know how much time it takes to do all the research!

I have more pics to upload in Section N. I got distracted by fulfilling photo requests at Glenwood.

Sorry about your slow internet. That's a real drag!

In answer to your question, I find a lot of old obits on the website, and use the snipping tool function on my computer. and are good for researching people, as you are doing. You and W. Warder are doing a wonderful job at Rock Creek! I'm doing small sections at random, and am always open to more info and corrections. This particular one was a bear -- glad you caught that the obit had her last name misspelled!

John Marshall Hebbard vs. John N. Hebbard
In the DB I could not find any Hebbards interred in July 1913.

It is likely that the interment date for John N. (Find A Grave Memorial# 165300559) is off by a year and that he was interred in 1912 not 1913. Which would make him a duplicate of John Marshall (Find A Grave Memorial# 83818231).

Also, I found an obit for Charlotte Hebbard, the wife and it says that she was wife of John M. Hebbard.

Excellent sleuthing on your part! Great catch!

I'll upload the photos to John Marshall Hebbard and send in the plot edit.

If you could link Charlotte (Find A Grave Memorial# 165300532) to John Marshall Hebbard and then delete John N. that would be great!

RE: Rock Creek Cemetery
Excellent! Thanks!

I put the photos up and sent edits up to lot 023 if you want to work on family links and such for them. If not, that's cool too.

I have been trying to find an obit for any person that does not have a marker - primarily to confirm the spelling of their name - since there are so many mistakes in the DB.

I've been sending those edits, that I can find, using the "suggest any other correction" choice, so they should be in your email account.

Thanks for the great work. This is a major effort and you are really making a difference!

All my best! Safe home!

No probably, Baber has been deleted. And no exchange is necessary.
Thanks and keep up your graving

RE: Thomas Henry Watts # 164502207
I tried my best to make out Edith's DOB and sent you an edit - I can always double check next time I'm at the cemetery as well.

Made your other requested changes, too.

Upward and onward!

Thanks for all your additions and hard work as well!

RE: Lumley's
I have never used ancestry and no on the LDS.

Might have to join some of the pay sites to find out more about my dad's side of the family. Strange thing I have found out that some have spelled their last name as Hilton!

RE: Lumley's
Thank you!

I wish I was retired!!! I'm 56 and have a few more years to work yet.

I'll try and help research anyone you have, but I'm fairly new to this. I have used Find A Grave over the years at work (health department) to help people try and find forgotten dates of death needed to obtain death certificates.

Since my mom died back in December 2015, my interest has grown to find all of my deceased relatives and have them listed here. Did you know my grandparents, Ed and Mable Lumley, had 19 children? Eight are still living and I have found some who are deceased and need to be tied to their page.

Hope your weekend is going great!
