I started doing this in honor and in memory of my daughter Alison Nicole Whearley- even thou she is gone-- she'll never be forgotten.|
I do this solely to honor the memory of those who have passed on. I will be happy to transfer someones family member to them.
Please take in consideration when sending updated information that is long and detailed, that it may take me some time to get it posted. I work full-time and am also a full-time mom. I will get the information you send me posted as soon as I can.
Also please take in consideration that some of the pictures I post are taken by my two helpers, my children.
Concerning "Duplicates" at Ward Cemetery. When I took the gate picture and also the grave pictures mine were on the WARD site first along with another contributor of other graves that I made sure not to duplicate. The cause of the duplictes is that apparently some of these were put under "WARDS" Cemetery, and apparently that contributor corrected theirs to the correct cemetery name, which is now causing the duplicates. I will not delete mine as they have pictures, information and in some cases flowers and information from others on them.
Lately I have seen alot of negative things being wrote on various sites about some large number Contributors being "Hoarders" or "grave hogs". I have a large number due to the fact that I "mow the rows" or for those who do not understand that, it simply means that I walk the cemetery and take pictures of all that I see and all that cross my path, not just filling requests. I will be more than happy to update or transfer any memorials to their actual family members... for now I'm just the caretaker.
As of the end of October,2014***I have started going through old files so that I can start deleting them to make more memory room. Until recently photos were only allowed to be a certain small size in order to upload. That has now changed. Larger pictures can now be done, so before I start deleting files I will go through the large size and try to change out the small pic to a large pic. Unfortunately not every picture I have ever taken will be replaced. Due to a computer crash I did lose some files.

First let me thank you for what you do. In our research of the Gilliland family we came across this marker. Would it be possible to determine the year of birth based on the age at time of death. Having photographed many broken markers I know how difficult it is to obtain photos that are readable. If you wouldn't mind looking at your original or next time you are in this cemetery rechecking this marker to see if the Age is readable I would greatly appreciate it. As a side if this marker is not one of your kin would you be willing to transfer it to us as we are attempting to complete the Gilliland line. Should anyone come forward with information directly linking them to this grave I will gladly transfer it to them. We DO NOT HORD Graves.
Thank you your friends in Genealogy

Thank you very much for so quickly accepting the additions/links for Marjorie(Dick)Boswell. With all the memorial you have to maintain, I am amazed to find mine done so soon.
Your labor of love in posting memorials and photos is most appreciated!!

Thanks so much for the headstone photo. It is greatly appreciated.

The death date for him matches that of his obituary, but he was actually born in 1818. Do you still have a higher resolution photo to see if the 1878 birth date is actually on the headstone?
Thanks very much for "mowing the rows"!

Hello again Eva. Sorry to bother you again but I was wondering if you would please transfer another memorial to me for Scott Edward Gordon memorial # 50647388. He was my brother. I would appreciate it. Thank you.
