I am an avid history fan and Civil War Historian of sorts. I primarily do research for a book i'm currently writing that will pay tribute to men who fought on both sides. I recently relocated to Florida and once settled I will be exploring the cemeteries here. If anyone knows of a old cemetery near Ocala, drop me a line and let me know. If you would like to contact me about the Civil War please feel free to do so at the email address below. Thank you very much to anyone who leaves flowers on my family members pages. Have a wonderful day. | |

 | RE: photos Anne, It was my pleasure, glad I could help you. You stated that you had requested 3 photos? I only saw the one for Mr. Albert Oliver. If there are more let me know.
The original Find A Grave photo request stated that Mr. Oliver was buried in The Foley Cemetery in Foley, Alabama. The Foley Cemetery is actually about 20 miles north of Foley in the community of Elsanor, this cemetery is a small family cemetery and is known in Elsanor as The Boyington Cemetery. I recorded information from all 59 of the graves, except for 7 which were without headstones of were blank slabs.
A few days later I found that the actual cemetery was The Baldwin County Cemetery in Foley. I went there and recorded information from all 171 of the graves, except for 52 unmarked graves or plots. Mr. Oliver was about the 5-6 one I came to, and I am glad that I found him for you.

 | Henry W. Baker by chance did you know the other Baker(believe it says Mathus) that was posted on the side of his stone. I need to go back and highlight this part of the stone with chalk and see who it says. | | | Debby Savage

 | Photo request for Moses Coleman added a problem report for him on your request for a photo. The last time I was there, took 6 months to get permisson and then the escort, may need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get there, very rough roads, tank trails, and impact areas. | | | Traci
