A big thank you to everyone that visits my memorials, as well as my virtual pet cemetery. I am very close to my family, and my pets are like my children. Your kind words mean the world to me; if I don't get the opportunity to thank each one of you individually, just know that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
My paternal grandfather's side of the family has been in America since the French and Indian War, and my paternal grandmother's side fought with the English against the Dutch at New Amsterdam.
I am very proud of my father, who is a retired Navy Seabee, my mother, who did administrative work with the State of Wyoming, and my sister, who is the smartest woman I know! At this point, I know I have to put in a good word for the smartest man I know (as he keeps reminding me)- my husband. Not to be forgotten is my son, Andy, who makes my life happy by NEVER forgetting a birthday or Mother's Day.
I live in Idaho with my husband (retired, lucky boy!), a Golden Retriever named Allegra, (Portugese for happy and lively) and a tuxedo cat named King Farouk (which gives an indication of how spoiled he is).

 | RE: Furry Friends Oh HI KATHY!
Thanks for stopping by and for the compliment. You know you were my inspiration to add my furry friends and I'm so glad I did. It was kind of cathartic to do so, and I will have to say, my furry friends have made me a little more compassionate towards the world. It's spring and I'm spending more time outside and less here on F.A.G. but I go in stages so I will be back soon.
Glad to hear from your again!

 | Mannie Zimmerman Hello Cousin
Mannie is buried in Hiattville cemetery southwest of Fort Scott, KS in Bourbon County. He grew up there and that's where he wanted to be buried. You can do a Google of Hiattville, KS and find it on the map. it is an old, small cemetery on Highway 39.
Sorry if I came across in less than a appreciative manner.
Jeff

 | William Mckinley "Mannie" Zimmerman My grandfather is not buried in Hepler cemetary. He is buried with his wife, Lillie and son Theodore in Hiateville cemetary. Not sure where you got your information, but they were obviously wrong. | | | jeff totman
