Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started the genealogy trail back in 1967 but got sidetracted by work etc. Only with my retirement,(2008), did I restart this passion. I trace my family, paint, write. In 2011, I traveled from state to state visiting the family graves. In spring of 2012, I finally made it to Ireland.
I am particularly focused on doing findagrave biographies with photos of relations and getting them all linked.
My surnames are;, McPHILLIPS,LYNCH, SULLIVAN, McCABE, BOLSINGER/BALSINGER, ARMSTRONG, KERNAHAN, FISHER, CRAFT, HIGGINBOTHAM, KEENER, CANTRELL, CHASTAIN, HAYES/HAYS, and WHITEHEAD. I've been helped by so many seasoned genealogists across the states. What a great bunch of people do this!!!

If someone wants to copy my pictures I would like credit as being the source for them and it would be nice to have a heads up so I can check the facts that are presented about them. These people are my family so I appreciate this coordination and teamwork. Thank you.

RE: McCabe in Ireland
Click Begin New Search in the Actions box to the left. When the F.A.G. Search Form displays, enter the memorial # in the Memorial # field and then click Search. The memorial should display.

Yep, I know what you mean about the long drive. I'm no longer in the PA area and the trip is an all-day trip from CA these days. Doesn't look like we have the shared Irish ancestry, but we do have the shared interest! Good luck!

McCabe in Ireland
I added a new McCabe in Ireland (died in Calif.) and thought you might be interested: #131675868. I've included a bio from his obit and created a new cemetery according to the info in the obit. If you know the area better - or different, please advise. I noticed that you and I have a mutual F.A.G. friend in Brian and suspect that we may share Irish ancestry interests in PA.

RE: William H Wade
It's my pleasure! I love getting to the bottom of things! What do you know about your William Wade? Is he definitely buried on Long Island?

William H Wade
Hi Dona,

I have some exciting news for you regarding William H Wade! I solved the mystery! I went back down to the office at Huntington Rural and looked him up in their computer system again and then looked further in the original handwritten log book from 1897. I discovered that William H Wade was indeed buried at Huntington Rural with his father William A B Wade and mother Eliza on Feb 18, 1897 and then there was a notation in the log book that stated that he was then in fact removed to Amityville Cemetery on April 29, 1914. So you were right! He must have been removed to be buried in his wife's plot in Amityville! So glad we cracked the case!

RE: William Henry Wade burial place
Oh so you have two William Henry Wades? Did you call Amityville and ask if they have him on file and what information they have for him? If you know his wife is buried there they should be able to tell you who else is in the plot with her.

Huntington Rural wouldn't have a burial date for him if he wasn't buried there, but that doesn't mean he wasn't removed from one and reburied in the other. I will check with the cemetery to see if there is more information on him.

RE: William Henry Wade gravestone search
I wish I had a photo for you Dona, but I can tell you that his burial date was 2/18/1897. I hope this helps!

RE: unfound grave of Martha Cantwell
You are most welcome. I am still searching for a copy of the plat, for surely there is one somewhere. I will still try to help pinpoint the location.

Peace and Joy,

Frank L Fisher
Please check death date for Frank L Fisher. SS death records have his death year as 1976 not 1978.
He is my husbands 1st cousin 2x removed.
