Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a southern Pennsylvania resident and have been doing genealogy for 20 years, primarily on my mother's family. Her maiden name was Comer and she was born in Grayson County, VA. My sister, Linda, and her daughter, Shari, help me by taking many of the photos of the grave markers/stones and adding them to this website. They are a tremendous help to me.

If you would like for me to transfer to you any of your kinfolk that I have entered, please click the "EDIT" tab at the top of the memorial, then click "Suggest a Correction, etc." and, after entering your request, click "SEND". Find-A-Grave will then automatically email me with the memorial number you requested and your contributor number included. It is not necessary for you to type those numbers in if you use the EDIT tab. BTW, I am not too fussy or nitpicky about your relationship to the person you request since it's hard for me to fathom that you would want to manage the memorial of a person who is not related to you. I would like to think that your intentions are good and honest. So, with that said, I would be happy to transfer anyone as long as I am not related to him/her/it also.

Incidentally, please do not send the names of children to be posted to the bio of a memorial. It creates an additional burden that is difficult to keep up with. I will, however, link any family members if I am able to.

Also, most of the memorials I create are from the individual's death certificate. I post only the basic data that I find to include the person's full name, full birth/death dates, where born and where died, the name of the spouse(s) and the cause of death, primarily if it's accidental. I realize the info is not always accurate but at least it's a start. I will not post the death certificate to the memorial since I consider them to be relatively private and personal. There are often words and descriptions on the forms that I'm sure the survivors would not desire to have publicized.

Btw, I have found that the death dates listed on the certificates are generally very accurate and if they're off, it's usually only by a day or two. More often, the grave marker is in error when there is a conflict with the death certificate.

Luther Dickerson 35655129
Just an FYI, it appears that your memorial for Luther Dickerson is a duplicate. There is another memorial #28789191 that was created prior to yours.

Thanks for all the work you do here on Find a Grave!

Anytime Smith Funeral Home in Wadesboro has a funeral they just list it as Deep Creek Church. I wish someone would school them as to the correct name of that church. Thank you for the work you do on Findagrave.

RE: Robert Glenn Key
Hi Rich, I would have asked them to delete their memorial since it's in the wrong cemetery and you had no way of seeing it. They have not moved theirs yet so I will not be moving my photo until they do.

Orville Smith # 33605539
Hi. I know from all the records I see that you have spent many hours for this great sight. The Smith listed here was a nephew of my father-in-law. He has another memorial showing his monument with the name "Arvel" Smith, same dates. That Memorial # is
39982967. I always figured his name wasa Orville, but it is spelled Arvel on his stone. Again thanks for all you do.
