RE: Hello
Oh my goodness! So good to hear from you. I only have but one picture of my grandpa jess and thats when I was very little sitting on his lap. I only have this one picture of Anna and thats it. So good to hear from family members. What a joy it is! I would love to see more pictures. I don't have very many on the Johnson side. I did get to come down a few years back when my dad was still alive. I took some videos and my dad got to watch them before he passed on. He cried watching them. I am coming down for Dante Days for the first time. I have a Aunt! I never got to meet Jess that has the funeral home but would love too sometime. My brother Lionell Johnson Jr. just passed away this pass April and I buried him next to my mom and dad. I have no family left now. I was just looking around and came across this site and so glad I found that picture. It was great!
Thanks for getting back with me.

My name is Tammy and my dads name was Lionell D. Johnson and thats my grandpa Jessie Johnson. I was so shocked when I came across this site. I've visited my grandparents grave a few years back and going again for Dante Days. I don't know you but I just wanted to tell you, thank you so much for putting up his picture. It was so excited to see that picture of him

RE: Your Mamaw
Oh my goodness,How are you? I'm trying to find other family members on Mamaw Ethel side and Grandpa Clayton side. I can't find where Grandpa Clayton is. My mother( Gladys ) told me where she believed he was laid to rest, but I can't find it. Gaynell had said that they was going to be a family reunion in September down towards St Paul. I havent been down that way in years.

RE: Richard Peyton Bailey, Sr
Yes, he did. James Bailey was born in 1766 and died Jan. 19, 1866. He married Margaret Stinson (1768-1846)in 1789.
My anestor was John Bailey brother of James. They were woodsmen, hunters, scouts, and Indian hunters. They were assigned to duty by the government of Virginia to protect forts in their area during the years of 1780 - 1794.
I have researched the Baileys quite a bit. Ifyou want more info, I will be glad to share.
