Bio Photo Yes, that Rosebud from "Citizen Kane".
The final utterance of the fictional
Charles Foster Kane
one moment before his death.
What is the final thought
in life of the great man?
What does it mean? Regrets? Lost love?
Something else totally?
See the film if you haven't.

Here is lyrical poem of predictable interest for F.A.G. members, recorded in 1966 by a 19 year old David Bowie on his first day ever in a recording studio. There is no musical accompaniment, just the sounds of rain, thunder, some birds and a digging shovel. If you hear it, you will likely never forget it due to its uniqueness.

And Death Shall Have No Dominion
BY DYLAN THOMAS

And death shall have no dominion.
Dead men naked they shall be one
With the man in the wind and the west moon;
When their bones are picked clean and the clean bones gone,
They shall have stars at elbow and foot;
Though they go mad they shall be sane,
Though they sink through the sea they shall rise again;
Though lovers be lost love shall not;
And death shall have no dominion.

And death shall have no dominion.
Under the windings of the sea
They lying long shall not die windily;
Twisting on racks when sinews give way,
Strapped to a wheel, yet they shall not break;
Faith in their hands shall snap in two,
And the unicorn evils run them through;
Split all ends up they shan't crack;
And death shall have no dominion.

And death shall have no dominion.
No more may gulls cry at their ears
Or waves break loud on the seashores;
Where blew a flower may a flower no more
Lift its head to the blows of the rain;
Though they be mad and dead as nails,
Heads of the characters hammer through daisies;
Break in the sun till the sun breaks down,
And death shall have no dominion.

RE: The Wall Family
RoseBud-

You're very welcome. I love the challenge.

Couple of things...

1st-if you want to create their memorials, I have a couple of additional Wall headstones-Roger E Wall (1924-1949) and Edna E Wall (1908-1960). They were in the plot with the grandparents.

2nd-I noticed you created a memorial for Mae (Klaschus) Schatz. I found her obituary and her date of death was June 3, 1986 and she is buried in New Cathedral Cemetery. If you want to update her information and submit a request for photo, I'll try to get over there later this week, or early next week. I have family buried there too and need to take some pictures.

Donald R Wall
Hi Rosebud-

I filled your request for a photo of Donald R Wall's headstone. Please check his birth date since the date on the stone is different than the F.A.G. memorial. I'm still searching for his parents and there is another Wall plot not far from Donald, but there are no names on some of the stones (Daughter, Grandson, etc.). Might Martha A and John C Wall be Donald's grandparents?

Regards,
Chuck Lewis

RE: Sweet Friend
Hello Rosebud -

You are very welcome as it is always my pleasure to visit the
memorials of my friends. I enjoy reading the bios and seeing
the photos of all your family, friends and adorable pets. And
leaving tokens of remembrance is very rewarding for me. So
you'll be seeing my name a lot in the future. :-)

Have a wonderful week and God bless you and yours -
Hugs, Jean Ann
