If you have additional information or edits that you would like included for any of the memorials I've created, please forward them using the Suggest A Correction feature. I'm happy to transfer memorials to family members unless the memorial is for a member of my family. |
If you have a better photograph than the one currently on the memorial let me know and we can replace it.

|Fay Carmichael||Joe Blair|
Thank you so much for looking for his grave.
Joe was a fantastic musician whose mother used to host jazz greats in their Baltimore City home when hotels were not open to African Americans.
I had the honour of playing with him on trombone when Joe was the pianist for big band gigs, although he usually performed with small combos.

Thank you so much for the photos of Lena Newsome Haney, and Vera Elizabeth Joyner. We appreciate all your help and all you do on Find A Grave!
Still have all you edits for Beechwood. Research is so slow and unavailable for that demographic, I set them aside for the easier ones. I have several people surveying and photographing my cemeteries and I have had trouble keeping up, but promise to get to yours. Glad to see you over in Woodlawn. There are no office records and if I come across a death certificate I automatically transcribe it. That is where Elley Kerley's husband is buried and I can't help but think she must have lots of unposted photos, but I hate to bother her. You are one of a very few people whose research I trust enought to automatically accept your edits through the new tab system. Keep up the good work.
