I love the history, the architecture, the beauty, and mostly the serenity of a cemetery, especially Hollywood Forever where I've been visiting for 31 years. I enjoy fulfilling photo requests at this cemetery the most.|
I've been seeing more and more requests for photos without any grave location information. Cemetery offices are much more likely to cheerfully provide family members with grave locations than photo volunteers, especially those of us they see often. Some cemeteries won't provide grave locations to photo volunteers.
Currently Hollywood Forever has over 89,000 graves; their phone number is 323-469-1181 and their email address is email@example.com.
Please allow any cemetery enough time to respond. Realistically, finding grave locations is not a priority in the day to day operation of an active cemetery.

Hi Jim...I was wondering, since you took the first photo I had requested of Roseanne's grave marker, when you have time, would you check to see if her son has put a headstone on her grave and take a photo of it. I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much for all of your help!

Thanks very much for the photos. Excellent quality. I especially like the one of the corridor containing the crypt. Gives the closeup a context.

They are all transferred to you. If for some reason I missed any just let me know. I hope you are able to add more information to their pages. Sadly, the little stone for Abraham and Elizabeth fell over during the winter and it is still laying down on the ground. You can see the crack in the stone and it needs a professional to come fix it.
I just read your profile, that is so wonderful all of the work you do with photo requests in Hollywood! I would love so much to visit a cemetery in Hollywood! Take care,

I thought I was helping the situation as I'm not going to roam freely through the cemetery without a general location.
I am, however, heading out this weekend to do another round of photography, hope it helps!

Thanks so much for taking & adding those grave marker pictures to Theodore and Anna Vorobieff's Memorials, it truly appreciated !
I hope you had a great 4th. My roommate and I went to Mullholland and watched the valley. Had a great view of Universal Studios and Burbank Studios show. James

Actually, that fifth edit was adding Mary Vandecar's maiden name, which looks like it was added anyway, so no problem.
