Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm the great grand son of Walter Herbert Kendrick. I've been doing Genealogy for about 5Oth. years. The photo left is the begin of my Family History Researching. I'm with my grandmothers. I'm in the process of writing the Kendrick Family History, and have about 9 Generations done.
They lived in Cape Cod, and Plymouth, Ma., and also Nova Scotia. And I'm willing to take additions, and correction.
I'm also writing the Family History of Oswalt family, and I have about 8 Genearation done. It is my wife Family. They have been having the Oswalt Family Reunion, for 74 years, since 1938, on every third Sunday of July. At the Grange Park in Sanborn, Clearfield Co., Pa. AND NEXT YEAR WILL BE THEIR 75 YEAR !!! They also have replace, and place several gravestones for their relatives, and others. We are working on adding a gravestone for William Henry Merritt in the Old Clearfield Cemetery, in CLEARFIELD, Pa., He never had one.

Let me known if there any corrections, and if there is any Transfer need. I'm related to most of them.

RE: Tabitha Kenwrick/Hopkins
I understand on the lack of a death record. There is, however, a record of her second marriage... therefore her death has to be after that. I think the 1775 makes more sense...

Hi Reg.
You said that Daniel's wife was buried in Ebenezer Union Church Cemetery. Could you get me your source for writing that?

Warm Regards

The Cataumet cemetery has its own website with photos of the graves and genealogical information. You can find a photo of Harriet's grave there.

RE: Plympton, Cemetery
Hi Reg:
Mayflower Descendants, "Gravestone Records in
the Old Cemetery at Plympton, Mass., also does
not have a transcript of William and his wife
Sarah (Rider) Churchill. However they do have
a transcript of two of their children that I
Elizabeth Churchill, daughter of William and
Sarah, died 4 December, 1785, in her 23d year.
Sarah Churchill, daughter of William and
Sarah, died 29 October, 1785, in her 21st year.
Those records are from Mayflower Descendant,
volume 9, 1907.
There are already memorials for them on Find A
Grave, done by Joan Ellis Pulis. She probably
went by the 1907 list because they are not on
the 1979-80 list.

According to the "Churchill Family in America,"
[pp. 73 & 74]:
"William probably served in the war of the
Revolution, from Plympton. Several of the
names on the published rolls, either one of
proper age, and no document or information to
indentify them."

The Plympton vital records [p. 459] deaths:
William (Churchill) h. Sarah Rider, ch.
David Churchill (s. William) and Mary (Magoun),
March, 7, 1824. Buried in P.
(the P is Plympton)

I know there are other cemeteries in Plympton,
but I do believe William and his wife Sarah are
probably buried at Hillcrest. We know two of
their children are buried there. The parents
would want to be buried near their children.

The 1907 transcripts also have:
David Churchill died 27 September, 1785 in
his 76th year.
Mary, wife of David, died 18 May, 1785 in
her 81st year.
I think these are the parents of William.
They probably already have memorials, but
you may want to link onto them.

If you have any questions or if you think I
may be able to help, let me know.
Good luck with your research, you are a smart

RE: Plympton, Cemetery
I will get back to you.
I went to the library and copied from the
Mayflower Descendants "Gravestone Records in the
Old Cemetery at Plympton, Mass."
These gravestone records are from 1906,
as I had mentioned to you before the records
from Bicknell are from 1979-80.
I also researched the Plympton vital records and
"The Churchill Family in America."
Seems William and his wife Sarah are a bit elusive as to their burial location.
I have to go to work now, but I will get back
to you with the results of my research.
Take Care,

RE: Plympton, Cemetery
My apologies. They are possibly buried at
the Old Burying Place in Plympton, MA.
Not all the old gravestones survived when
Bicknell documented the gravestones in 1978-79.
It is really impossible to know exactly who
is buried in the old cemeteries. Some did not
have gravestones, some had wooden markers which
of course did not survive, other gravestones
are possibly buried or no longer exist.
To validate your memorials of William and
Sarah (Rider) Churchill, maybe you could add
to their memorials that a family member documented
in the vital records book that they are buried
Sorry I could not help you out with photos.
Take Care,

RE: Plympton, Cemetery
"Bicknell's Gravemarker Study" of Hillcrest
Cemetery, Plympton, Plymouth, MA, which was
conducted 1979 - 1980 does not have the grave-
stones documented that you want photographed.
In other words the gravestones are not documented.
The three Williams' that you refer to in your
request that are buried beside each other are:
1) William Churchill, d. Oct. 5, 1722.
2) William Churchill, d. Nov. 16, 1774.
3) William Churchill, d. Feb. 23, 1760.
The only other William Churchill who is buried
at Hillcrest is:
William Churchill, d. March 7, 17..?..
The only Sarah Churchill found is:
Sarah Churchill wife of Oliver Churchill Jr., who
died Feb. 16, 1827.
Your request was for me to photograph:
William Churchill 1739-1824.
and his wife Sarah (Rider) Churchill 1739-1826.
I do not know where you got information that
they are buried at Hillcrest Cemetery. It is
not accurate. The is NO information stating that
they are buried there. You created the memorials
for William & Sarah in 2014. ALL the old grave-
stones at Hillcrest were done by volunteers of
Find A Grave well before then. You have created
memorials and placed them in a cemetery where
there is no documentation of their burial.
Also, I did not find any information on Ichabod
Churchill, 1722-1808, and his wife Susannah
(Gibbs) Churchill. I have searched the burials
in Plymouth and they are NOT listed as being
buried at Hillcrest.
Sorry I can not help you.

RE: If you take a photo?
Hi Reg:
Right now I do not have my camera, my daughter
took it to Greece. I should have my camera back
in a few weeks.
In a few weeks I will go to Plympton and try to
get the photos that you want. I have a good idea
of the location that you are talking about.
I'm sure that you did a good job on the edits.
Good to hear from you,

Information Joseph Howard Eldridge - 79266920
I found some information on Joseph Howard Eldridge on, linking to Findagrave - - #79266920, listing him as a burial at sea. It is showing that you listed the information ( I greatly appreciate you taking the time), could you tell me where this information was found or if there was a record of it..?? I have been trying to find out as much information that I can(he is my 3rd great-grandfather), but nothing regarding his death. Thank you very much for your time!
