|Our primary interest is Greenwood Cemetery. Secondary interests are other cemeteries in close proximity (Eastern Travis County, Texas) as many of those interred at Greenwood have relatives there. |
We prefer you add one of our listings under your umbrella using the virtual cemetery feature at Find A Grave.
Always glad to do linking or posting other information (obits. etc.) that anyone has for our entries. If you have additional information, we will happily add it and list you as the contributor. If anyone finds mistakes, just let us know.
If you want a reply it is best to leave a email address as I generally do not respond via public message because they cannot be edited.
Also, we encourage people using the resources of this site to get involved in their local cemeteries. Lots of the smaller cemeteries need your help in maintaining their appearance and sometimes their existence. So get off the pc and get involved. There is more to this than surfing the internet.

Just a note to say that Georges mother is listed on the site but his father isn't. His father was Samuel Ingram 1808 Tennessee to 4/28/1883

|Jeanette "Nettie" Keyes Hunsicker||Eddie Jeffrey Shugart|
I was wondering if you physically know Eddie Shugart. Was he tall with red hair? Do you know if he lived in Lake Travis Texas and if he went to Dripping Springs Schools from 1969-1973. It is time for our class 40 year reunion and I am trying to find classmates and I found this. Please respond as soon as possible. Thank you Jeanette Keyes Hunsicker
|Lisa Bailey||Martha Chambliss Smith #19027037|
I submitted an edit to remove Mary Jane as her mother. Rebecca Clack was her mother (Lawson Chambliss's wife #1). (Nancy Franks was #2 and Mary Jane was wife #3, Martha's step-mother.) I have not yet found Rebecca's gravesite.

A woman only has one maiden name. In this case that would be Needham.
|Nancy Kasper||Annie Kasper Reinhardt|
Is there any chance you could connect Annie with her husband and any children they might have had? My husband's last name is Kasper and we are continually searching for any possible relatives. Thank you for your time and any help you are able to provide.

Hello! I was wondering if you could insert some information on this memorial? Dorothy is my husband's grandmother. Dorothy Sunshine's maiden name is Ponton. She is the daughter of Joel Bruce Ponton (1899-1986) and Mary Bell (1900-1959). Dorothy Sunshine Ponton (1921-1997) was married to Henry Carl Henninger, Sr., and later to Vernon Leslie Phelps. She had one son with Henry Carl, a boy named Henry Carl Henninger Jr. With Vernon Leslie Phelps she had a daughter, Leslie Beth Phelps.
Thank you so much for assistance!

Thank you for all of the hard work you do in maintaining these memorials. I would love it if you would transfer this one to me. I would like to continue adding information and taking part in maintaining the memorials as a way to honor my family members.

You are quite welcome, I am so sorry I am just now getting this email. Anyway it is your picture now, so use as you want to.
Hi! I am working on my husband's genealogy and came across this memorial. This is his great grandfather through his maternal line. He was just a boy when Charlie Kretchmar passed away, but vividly remembers the funeral and burial. We (he) are confused on some information posted to this memorial. This memorial shows the death in Temple TX and the burial in Austin. His recollection is that his great grandfather lived in a nursing home in Travis County (Austin TX) at the intersection of S. Congress and East Live Oak St. at the time of his death. We are aware that Temple is the location of a VA hospital and he was a Vet, is that the reason for listing Temple as his location at the time of his death?
I would appreciate it if I could receive the documentation that you have used in posting this memorial. You can email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you, Kim McCullars Henninger (for David Henninger)
