Bio and Links
Bio Photo I enjoy a walk through the cemeteries in my area. It is a great source of excerice and calm. It is amazing to see the number of people who love to take strolls in the cemeteries.

I have been researching my family history for 10 years. Just recently I was trying to come up with a way to help other people while researching. Thank you Find A Grave for providing this platform.

J. Lewis
Debbie

Hoping that J. Lewis is J. Martin Lewis. The date of death matches, Sept 25, 1875.
Let me know if there is a problem.
Could not find Mary Lewis.

RE: Ruth Lewis
Your Quite Welcome! Sorry I couldn't take a photo of Baby Boy Lewis (Larry) as he was buried directly to the left of Ruth Ford & D. Meredith Lewis's Marker. Baby Larry did not have a marker of any type. I did notice in Find-A-Grave that D. Meredith was marked "R" Meredith Lewis. The Cemetery Records shows that the D stood for "Dana". I have requested a correction for his first name and hopefully it will be corrected. You may want to recheck other Lewis'es in F-A-Grave as I always take extra photos as I stoll through our past ancestors resting places and add them to the site for future generations & budding genealogists.

Samuel Briard's tombstone
Thank you for the photo Debbie. The stones certainly show their age don't they? Don't imagine I'll look that good after 300 years though.

Tombstone of John Hildebrant
I can try to find this tombstone later this week but we still have a lot of snow on the ground so not promising I can get a pic until spring. I know this cemetery very well.

Update on your request
Hello - as promised, I went out to Chester Rural Cemetery on Sunday, however, with the snow still on most of the cemetry grounds, it was difficult for me to locate the headstone you requested.I tried for about an hour or so. Once the weather "warms" up, and most of snow is gone, I am expecting to have pictures for you. I will keep you posted and hopefully this wkend the Markers will be more visible. Thank you.

(p.s. Once I arrived at this cemetery, I recognized it as one I always wanted to go in to and never realized from all the times passing by how large it is. It has a great map on the premises as well. Just with all the snow it was hard to find your exact request).
