 | Tim Russert headstone Hi there
I am taking a vacation to WDC next week and plan on doing some grave hunting while there! One in particular was for Tim Russert, who doesn't have any plot location on the web site but has a photo taken by you. A couple others I plan to find while in the area are Robert Prosky and Howard Ashman, who have grave photos you have taken as well but I see they do have plot locations to go with theirs. Also, of all the cemeteries I've looked at that I hope to go to, Rock Creek seems the most vague as far as finding a specific plot location goes. Would you say it would still be difficult to find a burial there if a person has a section and location, as per their web site? Let me know what you think. Hope you are enjoying the findagrave web site!

 | Martin Agronsky Hi Gail,
You added a grave photo for Martin. I was just wondering what cemetery this was in so that the memorial could be updated. Thank you.

 | Ashman photo That was nice of you to add Howard Ashman's grave photo to his memorial. I was surprised it took that long for someone to do it since his cemetery wasn't unknown. If I lived closer I would have done it myself!

 | Robert Prosky I was wondering if you remember what section of Rock Creek Cemetery Robert Prosky is buried. I was there today and drove around for about 45 minutes and couldn't find it. Thanks.Added by Brian on Jun 14, 2011 6:57 PM | |

 | James Dean's mother James Dean's mother is buried at 'GRANT MEMORIAL PARK CEMETERY'. section F
James Dean is buried in Fairmount just south of the house he grew up in.
James Dean's father (Winton Dean) and Winton's 2nd wife (Ethel...spelling???) is buried next to Jimmy.
The aunt and uncle that raised Jimmy after Mildred's death (when Jimmy was about 9) is buried on the other side of Jimmy. Their names are Marcus and Ortense Winslow.
I know because I go to the graves at least once a year and have done so since the early 70's. I was one of the lucky ones to have had the pleasure of knowing Ortense and her husband for a short while and was invited into their home several times. I was even allowed to spend time alone in the bedroom Jimmy used while he lived at their home. Their kindness was a treasure to me.
Hope this information is of help to you and others. There seems to be a lot of confusion over this. I think people hear that Jimmy's "parents" are buried next to him...however it is his "Stepmother" not his biological mother buried next to him. Be Blessed....
