I have been interested in genealogy since the early age of 4, but getting any of this information from my parents was like pulling teeth. I knew only three of my grandparents' names, and that was all! |
Now with the help of my cousin, I have
the names of hundreds of direct ancestors going all the way back to the first Mayflower crossing and beyond! Thank you, Harry, for sharing this wonderful treasure of over one thousand years of family history with me!
If anyone knows anything more about
WILLIAM F. BUCK b: abt 1834 in Fayette, Tennessee, mother is Pemia, brother Edward, and sister Mariah, PLEASE CONTACT ME! (This is NOT the same William Buck who was the son of Jonathan Range Buck and Elizabeth (Houston) Buck from Fentress, Tennessee.)
I believe our William was related to the three Buck brothers, John C., Ebenezer and Morgan Buck, who moved from Fayette, Tennessee to Clark County, Arkansas around 1837-40.
William "F" (not "P") married Sarah Elizabeth Thacker in 1859 in Clark County, Arkansas and was the father of Rebecca "Becky", Joseph "Joe", James William, and Mary Harriet (Buck) Rice. He is not listed in the 1880 census and may have died around 1872-3 in Clark County, Arkansas.
If any of this sounds familiar, I'd love to hear from you! Help me fill in the missing pieces of this family puzzle.

It was my pleasure

The creator of the other memorial pages is pretty particular about his transfers...adheres to the Find A Grave guidelines. Do you fall within these?? Explain to him your relationship and he will let you know yes or no...maybe you'll get him on a generous day. He's usually pretty good about adding information but he has 1000's of memorial pages that he has created and thus has to make edits on them all.
Sorry I can't give you better news,

I'm confused...why did you create duplicate memorial pages for Dorothy/Ebenezer Burnham and request gravestone photos..if you know memorial pages were already created (you left a flower message for each of them)for Dorothy/Ebenezer Burnam (as it was spelled on their gravestones) with photos already taken??
Don't want myself or others to go to this cemetery which is quite large to try and find their gravestones if there are photos already taken.
Thanks so much,

That is awesome that he could give you so much information! I knew you had a number on the requests but at the actual cemetery there are a few sections marked with a small deteriorating wooden signs with a letter on it. No numbers! That's why I was confused. If he can't help you I'd be willing to go out and take another look. I do not get too discouraged when I can't find a grave because some of them are buried and it's not because I didn't do my part! lol I actually have what I call my grave cleaning kit. I keep grass clippers, a putty knife, baby wipes, rags and a small dust pan and brush! I'm ready for anything!! Let me know if you get the photos! I am curious now!

Hi! My fiance and I hunted long and hard yesterday for the Church family graves in the Pawtuxet Memorial Park Cemetery that you requested with no luck. It's a very big place. I see that you have grave numbers but do you happen to know what section they should be in? It could be helpful in locating them. If you can find that out we'd be happy to run back over and take a look.

Lois, thank you for adding the link to Caleb Church's mother Elizabeth Warren. I am not a descendant of the Church line. My fiancée is a descendant through Caleb's daughter Hannah, the Boomer family, the Morgan family and more. Again, thanks for the link.

Nice to hear from you. I am well and hope you are the same. The only way I know to add or subtract a sibling is by linking or unlinking them to their mother and/or father. From what I can see, the siblings are auto generated based on the parents linked to them.
Hope this was helpful,

Thank you for creating a memorial for Joanna Sprague (62302350) [my 8th great grandmother as well.] I guess that makes us 9th cousins.
Just so we do not duplicate efforts, can you tell me what avenues you have explored to try to find what cemetery she was buried in? Have you written to Watertown?
My email address is email@example.com if you do not want to bother with the middleman.
