|Monica S.||photo request|
Hello! I am wondering if you would be so kind as to take a photo of my 4th great grandmother's stone at Fairview Cem. Her name was Hettie Baird DuBois. She should be buried in section A, around lots 181-189, I suspect. Her son (Toussaint DuBois) and daughter (Catharine White) are buried there. Hettie's Find A Grave memorial number is #141094451. It would really help me out a lot if you could find her gravestone. Thank you very much!
Please remove the 'photograph' you posted of Valentine Hollingsworth on the memorial page at:
Since the art/science of photography began in the mid 1820's, a photograph of Mr. Hollongsworth seems quite impossible as his Date of Death is more than 100 years prior.

One of the oldest photographic portraits known, made by Joseph Draper of New York, in 1839 or 1840, of his sister, Dorothy Catherine Draper. The oldest surviving permanent photograph of the image formed in a camera was created by Niépce in 1826 or 1827.

Cayuga Co., NY I want to confirm that cemetery is on the east side of Bartnick Rd. The map on Find A Grave has it on the west.
From your description on photo ID, I am guessing it is located directly east of the farm house that is still there, b/n Rt 90 & town line road. There is a triangle of trees seen on google map
I am doing a research project on an early grave stone carver in the area and there are several burials before 1830.

I deleted the land papers for Joseph Acker, then re-added them. Unfortunately, that did not fix the problem. You can still view the document on his memorial, but you cannot open it. I have no clue as to why. I am not the most computer savvy person, and wish that I were!!
Joseph is my 5th great grandfather. I do not know a whole lot about him, but have found a few little things regarding him, like these papers. If you would like to send me your email address, I could try and email you the papers.

Thanks, I'v requested the children be changed to the original one and then I'll delete the duplicate when that is done.

According to Find A Grave guidelines, since my memorial was made first, and added to the correct cemetery, I am hoping the other party will delete their memorial. Then we can link everyone to her. Just let me know. Kay
