I have been interested in genealogy since I was 16, over 40 years. All of the people I have put in are related to my husband or I, with the exception of the famous people and some related to Iowa history. If you have any additions or corrections or are related to any of these people, please feel free to contact me. If you are more closely related to these people than I, I will be happy to transfer them to you, if they are not in my direct line, many are quite far down on family tree. I also have listed several families who were killed in the Johnstown, Pennsylvania flood in 1889. All of them I have listed, bodies were never found. If these are part of your family, I will gladly transfer them to someone who knows more about them than I do. Those in cemeteries in Mason County Kentucky are not related to me.
RE: Allen Family/Daviess County I'm so very sorry to take such a long time to respond to you! Stancil and his wife Laura Jane died and are buried in Burmingham, AL. I remember distinctly finding this because I thought it such a strange coincidence since my oldest son is finishing his residency there in Birmingham! Anyhow, Stancil and Laura lived with their daughter Dell Allen Carter there in Birmingham. After their deaths, Dell and her family moved to Los Angeles.
Smith I am wondering if you know who William Alexander's parents are. My great grandmother had a brother William Smith. They were the children of Jeptha Dudley Smith and Sarah Jane Clutter. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
