Hello, I am a descendant of William Joseph Powells wife Mary Caroline Stephens Powell. Do you know if they ever had a picture made. My family is on a quest to see an image of her. Or do you know of anyone who may know. She was also the wife of Noah Byars the armorer of the Texas Republic. My ggggg grandfather a Moore was her first husband. Her father was the namesake of Stephenville , Texas

Thanks for connecting him to his Mother and also correcting his county of birth under "BIRTH" section.
Just 1 more request...would you please correct his bio where you state he was "born in Union County, NC"? I'm sure it's just an oversight, as it's so easy to do. As I explained in my original request, Union County, NC was formed from parts of Anson & Mecklenburg Counties and did not become a county until 1842 and Franklin was born in Anson County in 1835.
Thanks for your help on this and all the other Find A Grave memorials you have contributed to Find A Grave. Hope you have a Happy & Healthy 2016!

|Charlie Oehler - The Dutchman||Patti Box Muse Kothmann|
You may wish to create her memorial and link it to her husband, Ross Kelly Kothmann. Her maiden name was Box and she married a Muse.
Patti M. Kothmann, of Mason, passed away on Monday, January 5, at the age of 73. Mrs. Kothmann is survived by her son Jeffrey Muse of Taylor and 3 grandchildren Jocelyn Muse, Cecily Muse and Jacob Castillo. Patti was preceded in death by her husband Kelly Ross Kothmann in 2002.
Patti was born in Houston, Texas on November 17, 1941 to George Box and Dorothy Kirkland Box. She was raised in Houston and graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School where she was captain of the “Scottish Brigade”. Patti then attended Southwest Texas State University graduating in 1962 with a degree in Education. After college, Patti moved to Raleigh, North Carolina where she taught 6th grade. After several years, Patti moved back to Texas and lived in Austin. While in Austin she met Kelly Kothmann. They fell in love and were married on September 29, 1993. After their marriage, Patti moved to Mason. In Mason she was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Mason was home to Patti and she made many friends there. Patti was a generous person and donated to many organizations. She had a loving heart. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and loved history. She also liked to spend time in her garden.
Due to health concerns it became necessary for Patti to move form Mason in 2013. On Monday morning, January 5, she went home peacefully with her son by her side.
Visitation with the family will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 10 at Mason Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Mason Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Gooch Cemetery.

If I haven't mentioned this before, THANK YOU for all the memorials you created in Varga Cemetery. As I am related to quite a few of them it is great to be able to now connect them with family members. I really appreciate all the hard work.
