I have been an Ancestry.com subscriber since 2001. I have hunted for my ancestors since early 1990s (without computer at that time) and helped friends find graves as well as made digital pics for them when time allows.|
My ancestry on my mother's side goes back to Elizabeth Foote & Josiah Churchill of Connecticut and New England. Her grandparents were Annie Eliza Churchill & Jeremiah David Hudson who was born in or near Ringgold, VA. My father's parents were Hawkins Elizabeth Perry & William John Rogers of Raleigh, Wake County, and Durham, NC.
I live in Thomasville, Davidson County, NC, born in High Point, Guilford County, NC. High school graduate, medical transcriptionist. Both parents are deceased (Annie Lucille Hudson & Willie Buck Rogers). I have a grown daughter and son and two granddaughters.
NOTE: Sometimes I will start a memorial for pics I have taken of gravesites near one that has been requested just to get them on line for others to see. These are usually not a relative of mine and I will gladly transfer management of them to another member. Just let me know.

Thank you for the info - I added the places of birth and death, the inscription and put her parents and siblings names in the bio section.

Peggy, I'm still not sure the maternal link is right. You re-sent the correction with his grandmother's memorial number, not his mother's..... Thanks, LG
|LostGeneration||Russell Ford #95932845|
Peggy, you sent the following correction:
Please link to parents. Also, he was born 2/26/1918 - middle name is Sherman. Born/died in Wake County, NC
#95932857 - father
#93932650 - mother
However, the mother link you sent links to a James Noah Baysinger. Please send the proper memorial number for the maternal link. Thanks, LG

Hello again Peggy,
Thank you so very much for your generosity in transferring Bobby Lee Childress to my care. I've now successfully connected him, and as more information comes my way I will be adding to OUR memorial.
Your willingness to share is much appreciated.
With regards and sincerest thanks,

Have added pictures of the Yorks -including the unmarker grave of David York. Thanks for the note about Oliver A York-may not have found David without it.

I'll bet you inadvertently omitted the minus (-) sign in front of the longitude coordinate. Omitting it puts you in China. :)
These coordinates are correct. It doesn't matter that the software appears to shorten them:
Let me know if you still have problems.

Hi Peggy. Thank you for posting headstone photos. But you have photos of 2 different Sarah Sullivan's on one memorial. Sarah Sullivan 7/1/1813-9/25/1898 is memorial #6677977. She has the old white tombstone. Sarah Grimes Sullivan 7/1/1813-7/15/1898 is memorial #6677943. They are 2 different people, born on the same day, died the same year and both buried at Emmanuel Reformed Church cemetery in Thomasville, Davidson Co., NC. Confusing!
