Bio and Links
Bio Photo My original purpose in posting here is to photograph headstones and post the information I can take directly from the stone. Many headstones are becoming illegible due to age or vandalism and this is a site to ensure that there is some record that these stones existed. I will gladly edit my typos or other errors I may make in transferring information from the headstone. I will gladly transfer memorials per FAG guidelines. I suggest that you try Ancestry.com if you want to build a detailed ancestral record.

Chloe Thomas # 89523729
According to "Norwich Vital Records" page 510*, Chloe Thomas died on 28 June 1789. However, it also says that her husband, Ebenezer, remarried on 9 May 1790, and died on 9 April 1808. Therefore, the date of his death should be revised accordingly.

Ebenezer Thomas # 54942577 was born 30 Sept. 1703 and died in his 67th year on 16 Oct. 1774. He was the husband of Hanna (Haskins) Thomas. She was born in 1710 and died 2 July 1747

Alvin Young
Hello Jack.

In looking at the memorial # 71439171 for Alvin Young, I think the dates are incorrect. The dates on the tombstone appear to be the dates of birth and death for Abby Ann, and the headstone just mentions that one of her husbands is Alvin Young. You have the same birth and death dates listed for both Abby Ann Perigo Weaver and her second husband Alvin Young.

I have been researching an Alvin Young, who was my Great-great grandfather, and came across this memorial. Just wanted to let you know about this so you could check it out. Thanks.
