|I live near Carnegie, OK and helped record the Carnegie Cemetery. Now I would like to photograph the tombstones and add obituaries as time permits. I recently retired and hopefully have more time to do the things I would like to do. |
I have worked on my genealogy for over 30 years. And found Find A Grave very helpful so I would like to help others by adding obituaries and photos.
I have permission to use the obituaries from The Carnegie Herald.
If anyone would like to manage a memorial I set up I would be happy to transfer it. 99% of the memorials I set up are not related to me. Please use the edit tab for any corrections.
Please let me know of any mistakes I have made or duplicates I have entered.
Any photos I have entered, you have my permission to use any way you would like.

Hi! Can you tell me anything about this lady. I am searching for my Grandma's Sister. I have no solid information on her other than her name and that she is the daughter of George S. and Lessie Wallace-Woody. If you could help that would be great. Thanks, m.g.

Would you please help me? In regards to Frances Danella Wright Cobb Memorial# 135964190 . Her daughter Jessie Ollie Cobb married Jasper Clint Lancaster in Hughes County, Oklahoma. He is found last in Carnegie, Caddo, Oklahoma on the 1930 census with his wife and family.
For Jessie Ollie (Cobb) Carruth Memorial# 64197084
Her SSI list her birth as 20 May 1903 as shown on her memorial and her death as Jul 1992 . Although on her memorial her death is listed as 1922.
I noticed the amout of incorrections in the cemetery where she is buried, "Memory Lane Cemetery." No markers found, unmarked graves, etc, etc.
Could you please send me the obituary for Ollie Carruth or possibly is is Jessie Ollie Caruth
as well as:
Watt Columbus Carruth Memorial# 64197092
James Austin Cobbs Memorial# 64981902
and if you would please attact an obituary to

By chance if you come by Jasper Clint Lancaster please let me know !!!

and last residence in 1930 was Carnegie, Caddo, Oklahoma.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much and thank you for adding the obit to Frances Danella Wright Cobb

I am the great granddaughter of John David Wilkinson (3-26-1881 to 8-22-1969) who married Ada Mae. Their daughter Dortha(y) Jewel Sharry is my paternal grandmother. I received his death certificate from OKSDH yesterday that states his father was William (Bill) Wilkinson and his mother was Elizabeth.
After reviewing census records on ancestry.com I believe the parents for him listed on findagrave.com may be inaccurate. I would like to have information on where you found these parents to be his parents? With the name William and Elizabeth it can be very tricky to seek out the correct family. I appreciate any help you can give.

Thank you ever so much for transferring management to me. It may take a day or two getting my information and links added, but once that is accomplished, I would be more than happy to transfer the memorial back to you. Again, thank you so much, it is most greatly appreciated.

Lillian, thank you so very much for sending the article regarding the accident that involved my Klusmeyer family members. I truly appreciate your efforts and contributions!
Lillian, if you happen to run across Cora Bell Wooden or John M. Wooden, let me know. They both died during 1915, he died on January 25 and she died later that year on December 6. I believe they are buried in Alfalfa Cemetery in Alfalfa, Oklahoma. I have been to the Cemetery and could not find their marker, perhaps they don't have one. They were my great grand parents.
