Corrections / Transfers If any of my listings need a correction please email me and note "Find a Grave" in the subject line. Are you family and would like control over an entry? Let me know and I'd be thrilled to transfer.
My Father If you should have a moment and would like to take a moment to visit my father it would mean a great deal to know he's being thought of. A VERY special thank you to eobancestry for sponsoring my father.
CC Rags Riley I have been working on family history --In a book that my Aunt did years ago--my great grandmother was at one time married to Rags Riley--but she doesn't have any info about the married--just has him listed as a husband--which she had a few--her name was Mabel and went by Mae or May---her maiden name is Kale---if anyone has any info about Rags Riley and her I would like to know it thanks Pam Weiss
Find A Grave There is a Photo Request for a Pernina Ross. I am unable to find the headstone but found a Florence Dudley Ross and Frederic Mills Ross. Pernina is to be in the same section. I am new at this. I was wondering if you could update Florence and Frederic so that it reflects not just the Block 14, but also as Lot 132. The City of Des Moines Cemetery Inquiry System verifies that it is Lot 132. I will return to this Block 14 and Lot 132 to see if I can now actually find a headstone for Pernina Ross or do you know if there is no headstone?
Find A Grave Tracy looks like to me your photo came as the best one. Thank You for taking it for me. Tom and I where like brothers from kindergarten to high school. And I just didn't want him forgot about. He been in that cemetery for long long time.
Thanks Again for taking the time out of your busy day to take this photo for me
RE: Find A Grave Oh that is fine Tracy take your time Tom not going any where. Sort of Speak. I'm just making a suggestion on how I think the picture will come out better. But family comes first as always. There is no hurry.
Find A Grave Tracy: Katie Lou just tried to take a better photo of Tom Good Grave and it is just hard to get it come out as you can see memorial 111602597. I have and idea might work. Take some baby powder or lime you get at garden center at Wal-Mart or Home depot I think they call it gypsum. Or crush chalk as what they use for chalk lines. or just plain dirt sprinkle on the marker and bush off around the letters as they are raise letters. Than take the photo. The photos I have was taken from a lady on the cemetery staff at Glendale Cemetery. Myself I live in Texas so it is impossible for me to get out there take the photo myself. I went to school with Tom and he was like a brother To me. This why this is so important to me.
Any of the above items will wash off easy next time it rains. So we are not defacing the marker in anyway
