Lucinda Winters Holt
She was my paternal great grandmother. Her daughter Bessie married my grandfather.
What is your relationship, please? You obviously have done a great deal of work on the Find A Grave website. Wish I had more time to photograph gravesites following requests. I plan to visit the Holt cemetery one day. LA Sue

Thanks for the info.. if you click on the edit tab, then on the category you want to edit, enter info and send it, it's much easier to get the edits done.. Thanks...

Folse memorial # 30612489
Hi Chris,
Have you had time to review the "edit" I sent regarding the correct place of birth of Magdalena Doll Folse?
Thanks, Dwayne

Virtual Flowers
I noticed that you've left a virtual flower on a memorial I have placed on Findagrave. The flower has information on dates & family members. I just wanted you to know that it would be better to send an edit instead. I can update the memorial if you send the info via correction request, but if you leave a flower with that info, I almost would never find out. Thanks for your time.

RE: Holt Cemetery
Chris, that is such a sweet thing to say. I feel everyone deserves to be remembered, even if it's a virtual token. My deepest and heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your mother. So hard losing a parent. The one poem you mentioned was given to me years ago. And Maya Angelou's quote is a personal favorite. One I try to live up to daily. Take care and again I'm sorry for your loss.

Cassius C Chittick
Yes, he did die in Alaska. He and another guy set out on January 29, 1913 with a dog team. They were traveling from Seward to Iditarod. Three days after they left the dog team returned without the two guys. The bodies were recovered in March, 1913.
Are you related to this Chittick family?
