I love Find A Grave and I especially enjoy adding photos to memorials so that family members can visit their family member's grave at anytime. However, I ask that you respect my efforts. Please, do NOT copy my photos to ancestry.com without giving me credit. Simply indicate " 2006-2014 K.B.Gilbert on Find A Grave". I'd appreciate a note letting me know you have copied them. However, do NOT post them to other Find A Grave memorials. Just let me know and I will upload them. Use for commercial purposes is not allowed under any circumstances. However, it is okay with me for you to post my photos of your friends and families headstones on Facebook as long as you link it back to the Find A Grave memorial. You may use my photos on your own personal website if non-commercial, but photo credit is again appreciated. [borrowed with permission from J. Sullivan].

Thanks to Brooke in Henry County, Iowa, for getting me started. She found my wife's great-grandmother's grave in Iowa and posted it--we never would have found it without her!

RE: Lucadello
You're quite welcome, glad to help! I was surprised that a famous memorial had a photo request (I've never seen that before on Find A Grave).

RE: Amos Day
I have been doing some more digging and found a researcher who has an ongoing DNA project. I will contact him and see if he has further proof.

RE: Amos Day
I am assuming he ran off. I can find no divorce record for them nor can I find a marriage record for Amos and Alice. Better to be listed as widowed than abandoned.

RE: Amos Day
Amos was married to Edna. They married in 1866. The link to the document: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XZF4-3MG

Also, the link to Stella's death certificate: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/X666-J6V

I can find records of at least five children of Amos and Edna.

Dear Ken,
Thanks for the transfer of Elizabeth McCahan. Doing work on the family since the graves of her parents were uncovered in Mt. Moriah Cemetery with the massive clean up.
Sincerely,
Mattie

Essie Rebecca Fravel Nutt
Kevin,
Thank you so much for letting me know where Essie is really buried. I remember when I was working a lot on the Fravel's I was confused about the 2 cemeteries and got an explanation from someone at the time...which I now don't remember! Also, thank you for the use of your photo's and I definitely will give you credit for the photo's as your bio instructs. Thank you for all the work you do to help us families who can't get there easily.
