Hi Gail, I'm so very much involved in the lineages of the Harrisons and the Norvills and those buried at the subject cemetery in Prince William County. I see that you have a 1778 year of birth for William Peyton Norville. Is that date a calculation of his passing at the age of 70 in 1849? Also, when, if anytime, did you actually visit the cemetery and if you have any comments about it? My book about Benoni Evans Harrison and La Grange is coming along and I'm trying to tie up some loose ends. I see that you are a cousin 5xremoved of Catherine Harrison. I noticed that the spelling of her name from other sources is with an "a" - i.e., Catharine. Do you have any comment on this? Also, do you have an actual birthday, i.e., day and month she was born in 1804? By the way, did you know she had another sister named Elizabeth who married a Fewell? I look forward to hearing from you. Ray Olszewski ROlszewski@aol.com
Hello I saw that you are related to William Simpson and Sarah Brown. I got a question do you know anything about their son John born 1810? I think that John Simpson is my Grandfather. Because my Grandfather John born 1810 married Rosenner. A relative told me that her maiden name was Sopher. They had quite a lot of kids and a lot of their names are or are close to Willam and Sarah's kids names. Thank You.
Emily Marsh :)

It is OK with me if you post the picture on your family tree in ancestry. Have a good day.

Most of those headstones are really bad. I have more photos I took on Saturday that are useless. I hope to get out there again soon and figure out who some of them are.

I have transferred the memorials - good luck with your research. This little cemetery is in the middle of a cow pasture, we had to get permission to pass through the cow gate to get there. It is a shame, as there used to be a fence around the cemetery. My husband and I were there as I am related to the Harbison's buried there. Yes, feel free to use the photos for your personal use.
