Bio and Links
Bio Photo I believe strongly in helping other researchers through volunteering projects. I survey cemeteries (obviously!), I do free lookups via Rootsweb's "Books We Own" and and I am FamilySearch Indexer/Arbitrator. If you need a picture of a marker in Columbia Co, Richmond Co or McDuffie Co, Georgia, let me know. (I will also go to other counties in the area but it might take me longer to get the photo).

I have been doing research for 20+ years, the bulk of which centers around the deep south covering the states of AL, GA, LA, MS, NC, SC, TX, and VA. Some of my direct line surnames are Simmons, Perry, Patton, McMichael, Seegar, Graham, Grantham, Slade, Yates and Lee. My husband's direct line surnames are Lewis, Wood, Maddox, Morris, Young, Spires, Reese and Blackstone.

If I have added one of your direct line ancestors to Find-A-Grave and you would like the memorial transferred to you, just hit the "edit" tab on the memorial and then click on "suggest a correction or provide additional information." It is easier for me to keep up with requests that way. If you see a mistake in something I have added, you can get that information to me the same way.

All of the photographs I take are protected under federal copyright law. If you want to use one of my photographs all you have to do is ask.

Hugs,
Michele

RE: Beard Young Cemetery
Can you please transfer Rebecca Unknown (Rebecca Brisco Hammond) and her daughter Jannie Gibson? I am researching the other names to see who else may be related. Thank you,

Sara

Beard Young Cemetery
Michelle,
I have been searching for a long time for this cemetery! Imagine my surprise when I finally looked at the names listed under the Beard-Young cemetery. Records I have for family memebers list the cemetery as Baker, Baker Rd. and Baker Place. I hope you dont mind, but I will be asking you to link many people in the next few weeks. Thank you,

Sara

RE: William Isaac Simmons
Sending email with pics from newspaper and corrected date for article. The papers are at the courthouse and I've photo'd over 20 years and try typing the obits along. Hope the info I sent via email is helpful. Barbara

RE: Thanks so much!
You are more than welcome to use the photos. I took a couple others too that you might want of the same graves and other family members near it, but it takes so long to load them onto findagrave that I was out of time after just posting one. If you have an email address I can send them to you if you like.

RE: Alexander Bush/Bush Cemetery
Let me know if you do. Still working on the Purvis/Grantham cemetery. Looking more like it was Purvis in the beginning.
