I believe strongly in helping other researchers through volunteering projects. I survey cemeteries (obviously!), I do free lookups via Rootsweb's "Books We Own" and and I am FamilySearch Indexer/Arbitrator. If you need a picture of a marker in Columbia Co, Richmond Co or McDuffie Co, Georgia, let me know. (I will also go to other counties in the area but it might take me longer to get the photo).|
I have been doing research for 20+ years, the bulk of which centers around the deep south covering the states of AL, GA, LA, MS, NC, SC, TX, and VA. Some of my direct line surnames are Simmons, Perry, Patton, McMichael, Seegar, Graham, Grantham, Slade, Yates and Lee. My husband's direct line surnames are Lewis, Wood, Maddox, Morris, Young, Spires, Reese and Blackstone.
If I have added one of your direct line ancestors to Find-A-Grave and you would like the memorial transferred to you, just hit the "edit" tab on the memorial and then click on "suggest a correction or provide additional information." It is easier for me to keep up with requests that way. If you see a mistake in something I have added, you can get that information to me the same way.
All of the photographs I take are protected under federal copyright law. If you want to use one of my photographs all you have to do is ask.

You are more than welcome to use the photos. I took a couple others too that you might want of the same graves and other family members near it, but it takes so long to load them onto findagrave that I was out of time after just posting one. If you have an email address I can send them to you if you like.

Let me know if you do. Still working on the Purvis/Grantham cemetery. Looking more like it was Purvis in the beginning.

Hi! Thanks for your work. I have a friend who is out there looking for her right now to photograph her grave, but he can't find it. He even bought a book on Edgefield Cemeteries, but she isn't listed. Any help you can give me or toby would be great!

Sure you may use the photos and if you want to use the others you mentioned in your personal family history please do. We only ask they not be "sold" or posted on other headstone web pages like Graves a billion places like that or for any commercial gain. Great you are educating others on the proper way to give credit thank you so much you are doing such a great service to our community.
Have a great day and glad we could be of help.

I am planning on calling the church and see if their caretaker for the cemetery has a list of the graves. It is always possible that I missed them. I'm not giving up quite yet.

I'm glad you liked it. Did you notice that the death date marker is missing on Lottie's marker ? I looked at it closely and it did not appear that there ever was one.
If you or someone wants to have one made you can call Beth Sembly at the Memorial Park and she can best tell how to get it done.
Her number is 443-386-8971.
