Bio Photo BIG NEWS!!! I was flooded out of Baton Rouge and am now living in Broadway Virginia where i will continue my grave hunting. .. am always on the lookout for unusual names, have added quite a few that are the only one listed, which is hard to do on here.I will always do the edit, but do not write everybody to let them know I did..I get so many edit requests, and do not mind doing them at all...Thanks .I live in Baton Rouge La.Though I have listings in many states, most are within a days drive on my home.I really enjoy fulfilling photo requests, it is like a treasure hunt, and I like knowing I am helping a loved one connect in some small way.I love driving back roads and finding cemeteries in the middle of nowhere.I add veterans of most all the wars,as a small tribute to those that have shaped our country. But I have a special affinity for the guys of World War II.These soldiers are the reason today we are a free country and we are losing them at a rate of over 1100 a day.Take time out to thank them .And then there are the ones that reach out and for whatever reason touch me.I also seek any family last names, such as Cox,Cover,Vaughn.I usually enter the info directly from the grave marker, but will add any info requested. If any errors are found please let me know and I will correct.I do find such peace and love and sadness while walking these sites. Also every one of these I have entered I actually walked the cemetery. Therefore a little more personal to me. .I want to apologize for all my errors. When I first started entering graves 14 years ago, i wrote the info down and transferred it, many times it was raining or I just could not understand my writing. Later years I add from a picture usually. So please forgive my early attempts.

Hey Bobby,

I see you are now on tour in Virginia! Hope I made you laugh a little especially considering all that you have been through in the last two months.
So sorry to read that you lost everything in the flood. Hope and pray you get back home soon and everything returns to normal. i know a lot of people that flooded including some family members. We were lucky and did not flood. I spent a lot of time helping my brother gut his house and we tried to salvage as much as we could. My wife was able to save most of their photos that went underwater. She also had our house looking like a laundromat with clothes hanging from every door frame, etc., in the house. We still have clothes for two families who are trying to get back in their homes. I will be glad when the hectic pace slows down! Take care.

Hi Bobby,
If there are any of my memorials that you would like transferred to you, let me know.

Due to multiple erroneous corrections sent by a member that I refused to make, Find A Grave has been contacted and has been making the erroneous corrections to my memorials.

With that being said, I will no longer participating.
