RE: Ingar Strand
Hi Tim-
I hope I responded earlier but perhaps I didn't. Then you were in Downers. Maybe in 3 years you moved. Anyhow, you are right, I assumed Ingar Strand was buried in the cemetery I posted. I will delete that info. I'm still sure she was buried in Downers. The Strands corner was Maple and Walnut c. 1940. Regards, Laurie

RE: David S. Campbell, Sr.
I sent you an email today. Did you get it?
Hope to hear back from you.

RE: Mountain Connection
My mom and her sister (both still living) went to Aunt Ethel's funeral. Worrall and Irene Adelia Tallman both died a few years before they were born so they never met them.

RE: Joseph William Mountain
There is a Joseph William, son of Joseph William and Catherine Slater, so that information is correct. There is also another Joseph William who is the son of John Mountain and Mary Ann Furmage. He was born in England. I have two different dates for his birthday - 07 Dec 1841 and 06 Dec 1840. The 1840 date was found in pension papers that John Mountain filed after Henry Mountain died in the Civil War in Minnesota. There's 'A copy from Family Bible' included in it. The 1841 date was found in a typed page of the Mountains, starting with Joseph William and Catherine Ann Slater. We're not sure who typed it, but it was among family papers in the house my aunt lives in now - originally the house of Milton T. Mountain and Marion Glasgow - my maternal grandparents - and where my Mom grew up. Some of the other papers found were written by William Mount Tallman and some were written by Marion Glasgow Mountain based on the handwriting.

RE: William H Paulsen at Vail Memorial Cemetery
Tim, I added all the pictures I took at the time. I no longer live in NJ, or I would go and look for Mary for you. You could call the church across the street, they have the records and are genealogically friendly.

RE: Joseph Van Burkirk
I don't believe so. His name was Ephraim Harry Lyons. I have his death cert but it does not list the cemetery.

I wonder if they are all in Olivet
Perhaps I'll have to try to get over there when I am in Chattanooga for thanksgiving. I'll keep an eye out for Joseph if I do

Thanks for your help

RE: Joseph Van Burkirk
Thank you. I have seen both of those on ancestry.
I guess more specifically, how did you place Joseph at Mount Olivet?
I wonder if Daisy is there as well

She has a son there but I don't know where she and her first husband are buried

Joseph Van Burkirk

I saw that you added and requested a photo of Joseph Van Buskirk in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Chattanooga TN this spring.

I am looking for a great aunt of mine and I am trying to figure out if she got remarried to him after her first husband's death.

Do you have any other information on him? Or know if he married a Daisy Hawkins-Lyons?

Thank you

George Martin
Thank you for your inquiry regarding the information on the memorial for George Martin. Since it was created several years ago, I do not recall the specific source, but these are the sources I usually utilize: obituaries, gravestones, family members, U.S. Census, veterans records, historical publications, Social Security records, family Bibles, immigration rosters, land records and newspaper articles. Occasionally there are other sources, such as a genealogical publication, library research or another Find A Grave contributor, but the vast majority of information I acquire comes from one of the previously mentioned sources. If you would like, I will be happy to transfer Mr. Martin's memorial to you to manage. Although I am a Martin, I am not related to him.
