His first bill he submitted, sponsored, and was passed was the Virginia Cemetery Bill, which forbade any destruction and/or plowing them under of them!

He alone saved the Wild Turkey (Meleagris gallopavo silvestris) from being becoming extinct when he was Chairman of Virginian Wildlife. Yes this is the Bird which the Country TURKEY attained that name. Tom, hen , and poults all.

Major George Washington Thornton
I am trying to find the grave site of my 6th Great Grandfather Major George W. Thornton and I cannot find any. Now his father Col Francis Thornton, III is buried at the Thornton, Forbes and Washington Cemetery in Fredericksburg City and I suspect he might be buried their but not certain. Does anyone have any information? I will try to contact the cemetery of his Father my 7th Great Grandfather and see if that might be the case. Would appreciate any feedback.

Capt John Gorham

I just noticed your flowers on the Capt. John Gorham memorial. Are you a ancestor? I am proud that you list your masonic relationships. I also have a long list of masons. My father was a Past Master in Calif. and I am a Past Honored Queen of Job's Daughters.

Hope to hear from you.

Hi, so glad to hear from you. James Malcolm Dillard was my great grandfather. I am trying to find out who the parents of James Malcolm Dillard are? Would you have any information? I have tried so hard and keep hitting dead ends. Yes I will also always remember Camille. I am willing to share any of my Dillard research with you as well. My mother was a Dillard, her father was Maynard Joseph Dillard and his father James Malcolm Dillard.

Hi and Hugs -
You're very welcome...I am so lucky to have support in my determination to draw attention to our angels; men, women and children with stories to be shared, and I only wish that I were well off financially - there'd be little hearts all around. =) Take good care, and have a nice weekend - Hugs, RCP and Gannon Blue
