Good Morning... I'm just checking to see if you are still an active member of Find A Grave. I've sent you a couple of additions and am not sure you are getting them... Hope all is well. Sherry

Hi, I transferred all 4 Stofers in this cemetery to you. One was an infant.

Please go to my bio and send me an email. I went to the Glenwood Cemetery and picked up a list of all of those buried in the Hamblen family plot. Three individuals are marked "marker only", meaning they are buried somewhere else. There is just a memorial marker for them. There is a P. B. Hamblem with a remark of "Remains of 2 reinterred" buried Dec 28, 1906. There is a Mrs. J. W. Blaidell buried May 29, 1912, with no marker, and a Paschal L. Hamblen buried Sep 28, 1917, with no marker. If you send me an email, I will scan the burial list and send it to you. Glenwood was established in 1871. Deaths that occurred before that date most likely would be reinterment. The unknown Hamblen who has a death date of Oct. 27, 1844, would have to be a reinterment or a memorial marker. The marker states this individual was: Aged 55 Yrs. and 10 Mos. This would caculate to a birth of Dec 1788. Is that a clue as to who this might be?
The cemetery still has not sent me a list of all of the burials on the Hamblen family plot. I hope to go by the cemetery Thursday or Friday. I will stop by the cemetery office and ask for them to print out the burial list. Take care!

Thanks for sponsoring the memorials for John and India Hogue.
Please contact me on my email address shown on my profile. I have posted most of the Hamblen graves in the Glenwood Cemetery in Sect. G-2, Lots 6 & 6.5. The cemetery website shows there are 30 burial with the name Hamblin in Glenwood. I have a few more questions.

Thank you for your nice note. There are several other graves in the Hamdlen family plot. I plan on adding them ASAP. You might want to check back later to see if I have added them. After I get them on Find A Grave, just let me know if you would like for me to transfer them over to you. Also, is Hamblen the maiden name for Jane Perry? I believe you have it shown as the middle name.

you are so welcome.

I added another photo of the burial location - so that you can see a little better where they are located. If you are interested in fuller resolution photographs (beyond the 500KB limit on Find-A-Grave) let me know and I can email them to you separately.
I've transfered Alice's memorial to you - getting your kind letter is what makes this fun for me. Happy to see Alice and Leander with family. Much more important than any "credit".
Best wishes to you. Richard

You are very welcome. Happy to help. Did you notice that I found his wife, Alice, right next to him (I created a memorial for her, #65915980)? I'd be happy to transfer her to you if you'd like.
