RE: John R. Cobleigh
You're very welcome. I'm glad you were able to get Nancy's burial location corrected and also created a page for Mary. I have uploaded their respective pictures to their pages. Bob

Re: Samuel Sibley photo request
I had only a short time to spend at Pine Grove, Douglas, and didn't find the marker (yet?). But have you contacted Glenda Perkins, who created the memorial? I thought her entries were all made from photos, so she might have one. If she posts one that's not very legible, let me know, and I'll swing by there. With photo(s) of the family marker(s), I should be able to find them - it's not a terribly large cemetery - and I'm pretty good at deciphering even worn stones.

Other than that, I'll eventually get back there, but, to be honest, I usually avoid cemeteries that Glenda's already done, since it seems a duplication of effort if she has the photos already but just hasn't gotten around to posting them yet.

(There did seem to be some there that hadn't been entered at all, though.)

Good luck!

Just wanted to say thanks for posting the grave site and especially the obit of Edward J Fogerty (Hope Cemetery, Worcester, Mass.) Edward is my great-great-grandfather.
Best wishes, Robert Ross (

Walter Forehand transfer
I am happy to transfer Walter to you. I think it will be helpful to fellow researchers to find their family member along with his/her fellow service buddies. They served/lived together so it might just be that their stories may be documented in one of their buddy's trees. Good work! -Judi

Dr. T. O. Cornish has been transferred.
Since I'm not related to 99% of my memorials, I'm happy to transfer them to anyone who shows enough interest to make a request on the theory that the memorial is going to someone who cares even if they're not a relative.

What the Park Cemetery did years ago late 1800- early 1900s was to make a section in PARK CEMETERY that would house the veterans of the Old Soldiers home. This was stopped in the 1900s and the Cemetery is Park Cemetery. If an old death certificate said old soldiers home park cem. they mean Park Cemetery. That section became a problem as husband-wife wanted to be together and quickly took up the plots near by. later they spread through out the cemetery as they are today. If Bailey is inactive and has not replied to your emails contact find a grave. when members die find a grave will take management. I do not know if they will transfer. I think that is where you have to go.
