I enjoy taking stone photos for the older souls. I also try to find some history about the person as time permits. I have learned much about the history and early settlers of my community.|
I have also photographed stones for older souls while travelling.
I use many secondary sources for my research on this site. I provide sources in the note section of the memorial, and encourage verification using primary sources. I also use a tombstone birth date calculator whenever a stone inscription has an age at death.
Feel free to use my photos and biographies, but please reference the site. Corrections, requests for transfer and discussion are welcome!
Please let me know if I have established any memorials, or taken photos of your family members that you do not want on the site, and I will most certainly remove them.

Hi I would like to use the photo you took on my husbands great (x4) grandfather's grave. If you do not mind. I would like to add it to my tree on Ancestry. I will reference Find A Grave and you. I would appreciate it greatly. Thank you,

The email has an underscore in it - jlbryant_aia - but it's active.
Currence's middle name was listed in the Braiden "Bryant genealogy" on page 76, in Joanna Bryant's biography. You can navigate to a web version from David Bryant's memorial [ http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=86552057 ].
As for the ordering of her names, it should be fine with how you've set it. I just thought/felt that Nichols oughta be listed, as it was her (last) married name.
Thanks for your F-a-G efforts, and especially all those Bryant pages.

Portage Community Historical Society (Indiana) Brendan Clancy announced at his State of the Township address at the Bonner Senior Center on Feb. 13, 2014: Improvements to James-Schrock Cemetery - A steep incline at the main entrance has prohibited access to many visitors. We are currently under construction of a new entrance into James/Schrock Cemetery. As soon as the weather cooperates we will continue with this project. Also, a new James-Schrock memorial monument will be installed at McCool Cemetery. This monument will list the names of the deceased at James-Schrock Cemetery. A dedication ceremony is being planned.~Kathy

Hi Tina, That's great that you were able to get so much info and trace your back to the Mayflower! You never know what bit of information is going to lead to such a wonderful find. I was lucky enough to be able to trace my dad's line to John and Elizabeth (Tilley) Howland of the Mayflower. It's fun to have ancestors who were part of our earliest history. Congrats & thanks for letting us know . Mary
