Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a direct decendent of William Capling and Barbara (Wildfong) Capling who immigrated to Canada and then the United States from England in the mid 1800's. Recent (August 2010) DNA tests on my paternal line confirm the Caplin's British Isles ancestry and English ethnicity (for the pragmatism). Mom's side of the Family (Coughlin, Evans, McCormick) provides the Irish (the passion). . .a potent combination! I am the last of James Capling (1846-1914) and Laura Platt's line. I am looking for any information on James Capling and his activities during his last years in Wolverine, Michigan during the time period of aprox. 1895 - 1900. Please contact me if you have any information or questions. My wife Nadene (Berryhill) and I currently live in the Seattle, Washington area as of 2013. We are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and avid family history nuts. I would like to hear from Yeager Family decendents. I also decend from the Sutliffs of Michigan on my Father's side and from the Corys (of Salem Witchcraft fame) and Sauvains on my Mother's side. I Would also like to hear from members of these families as well. I am also looking for decendents of Henry and Matilda (Wildfong) Caplin of Detroit, Michigan, and/or decendents of their three Children Arthur Charles, Frederick Aaron and Irene Caplin. I was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1949. Thank you.

RE: Elizabeth Kenny
These are the rules set up by Find a grave.

"Before adding a memorial, you should search the cemetery to see if a record with that name has already been added. If you find a memorial has been added but has incomplete or incorrect information, instead of creating a duplicate memorial you should use the tools provided to submit corrections, additions or a transfer request via the "Suggest A Correction" link under the 'Edit' tab on the upper right of the memorial. You should never deliberately create a duplicate memorial."

Re: Elizabeth Kenny
Mr.Caplin,
You need to delete your memorial on Sister Elizabeth Kenny since I had put one on findagrave back in 2008.
Thanks

RE: Jeffery James Tuttle photo
It is my pleasure to take photo's for you. I enjoy it very much. I too grew up in Michigan. I tried to go back in 2010, but the old adage "You can't go home again!" is very true. Everything that I knew and loved had changed. Again it is my pleasure to have taken you friend and loved one's memorial for you. Thank you so much for you very kind words. Pat

MONSEIGNOR PREFONTAINE
Hello-

My name is Laveau. I am wondering if it would be ok if I added a bio and photo for Monseignor Prefontaine. This is kind of a sentimental thing to me because I live in the area where he used to have his main ministry. Also {as insane as this may sound to you} I have clairvoyant abilities and I believe that I have seen Monseignor Preontaine. Anyway. If it's alright I hope that adding a bio for him is ok. If so how do I do that??.

RE: Dorothy Keyser Handley

Hi Larry,

Yes, genealogy IS fun in it's own way. It's lLike a big puzzle trying to fit the right pieces together. And it is also very satisfying to virtually link family together again. I love being able to create links to my family members and to also assist others in doing the same. In sort of a morbid sense, it seems as though I am helping to reunite family members who have been separated by death to the kinship they shared in life. We will all enter that realm, and I think each of us would want to be remembered by somebody. I want to help others remember.

If you are interested, there are other Keyser burials at Dock's Creek. If you need more information or photos, just let me know. :)

Paul

Hi Larry,
Check out the memorial for the above named at Thetford Township Cemetery in Genesee County, Mich. I know you have interest as she is daughter of Wm. Capling and Barbara Wildfong. Parentage verified from her death certificate.
