Bio Photo A 'family historian' for 30+ years I only recently began taking cemetery photographs as time became available...I'm more than happy to fill requests, including those for 2 areas we visit several times each year: Clarksville, TN and Decatur, Illinois. My deepest thanks to all of the incredible volunteers at Find-A-Grave who have advanced my genealogy research tremendously, but even more important, have touched my heart with their many kindnesses and personal letters. You make this site a great one, and I salute you all!

transfer of Agnes of Poitou
If she were within the four generation guideline no problem, but with 26 generations there is no chance, sorry.

John Lewis 1692 - 1754
It was so late last night, and I was so excited to see the email notifying me of the photo request success for this John Lewis, I forgot my manners and neglected to introduce myself. I am the 6th great granddaughter of Charles Lewis (1696-1779) who was the brother of the John Lewis in the memorial you provided the photographs for. You probably already know this, so I'm merely listing it for context as to my connection to the Warner Hall Lewis family, but my 6th great grandfather, Charles, was married to Mary Howell, the half-sister of Frances Fielding, wife of John Lewis and mother of his 3 sons: Warner Lewis, Esq., Fielding Lewis, and Charles Lewis.

I've been doing family research for about 6 years or so, but have really only been giving it extensive energy in the last few months, largely cross-referencing the 2 books my brother and I inherited from my dad: "The Reads and their Relatives" by Alice Read Rouse, published in 1930 and the book I mentioned in my earlier note called "Lewis of Warner Hall: The History of a Family" by Sorley and checking it with the online references available through and, of course, (where would we be without[?]) Google. :)

It's all very fascinating stuff!!

I hope this finds you well.
