Became interested in Final Resting places when my Grandmother introduced me to Robert Dickerson, author of "Final Placement: A Guide to Deaths, Funerals and Burials of Notable Americans" when I was 11 years old. He gave me a copy of his book and autographed it. Very interesting book. It's kind of interesting to know how people left this world, as it is like the epilogue of their life.

Hi John,
Is there any way you could put in your biography on Nell Carter that Ms.Carter was A DEVOTED CONVERT TO JUDAISM? The reason that I'm asking is because there's alot of crosses on her memorial page because people see that she's African-American and just assume that she's Christian.
I don't think that Ms.Carter as a Jew, would appreciate all the crosses people are leaving. Out of respect for her religious beliefs it should be mentioned in the bio so people aren't disrespecting her religion by leaving tokens of another religion she didn't believe in. | | | Jim Ditton
