My name is Joan Shoffner|
I have lived all my life in Sidney,Ohio
I have been searching for my Family for 10 years.My Husband would go along with me to the cemetery. I take a lot of tombstone picture and put them on Find a Grave so that other people can find there family member.
*From Find a Grave's Help Page:
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, or siblings. Aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. do not fall into this category. Bulk surname requests should not be made
you can use my tombstone and personal picture just ask.

Thank you! I submitted edits and then started to re-think her. I apologize for not getting right back to you, there is no excuse.
Again, thank you for not adding the parents, I will get back with you only if I am able to 100% confirm she is their daughter. Still working on her as of today, and haven't forgotten.
Have a great week,

Do you know the difference between the David Latimer and the James Latimer who are buried side by side at Coles Chapel Cemetery?
|Kim (Latimer) Fown||James Latimer and David Latimer|
In my searching, I found that David and Edith Latimer are my great grandparents. On David's death certificate, it states that his parents were David Latimer and Elizabeth Arbogast. I have found the information on a David c. 1815-1870, and also a James (or James David) c. 1825-1872. I followed your lead and went to Coles Chapel myself to see the stones. It looks as if they were relatives, buried side-by-side, with similar headstones. Any idea on who the other mystery man is?

Please add it if you have not already. I always put one in the flower in case someone will not add it. Yes, there are ones who will NOT add an obit. I will delete my flower after it is added. Hope the obit helps someone looking for this family member.
