Bio and Links
Bio Photo Most of my memorial pages are for family. I also volunteer to take and upload photos for other members to their memorial pages. I often add plot location or other information in the photo caption. If you click on photo on the memorial page you will see a larger version of the photo where you can read the caption if one was added.

I occasionally take other photos and make my own pages to upload them to. If I have entered a memorial for a family member of yours, and you would like to maintain it, please let me know. I will be glad to transfer ownership to you!

A very handy way to find Milwaukee area death notices is to search digitized images of Milwaukee area newspapers.

Milwaukee Journal 1880s - 1995

Milwaukee Sentinel 1910 - 1995

Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel 1995 - 2007

They are found in the "M" section of

About 1 in 50. I added to my list. Maybe will go there on Sunday. Been only going to HC on weekends. With the Zoo mess it takes to long to get to work for weekdays.

Thank you for the pictures of the 3 Maronek headstones. The group shot is especially appreciated. Many thanks!

RE: Henry Wasniewski - Holy Cross
All the ones that have row/grave start by the fence and north end. Even the ones on the east side.

Most of the ones with lots zig zag north to south, next row south to north. With lot one on the east end. Except the blocks 4n & 4s lot one is on the west, and zig east to west. 4n east side is a mess.

No problem Judy. I have family in All Souls and when my photo request was sitting a bit, I decided to go and get the photos and since I was making the trip, decided to fulfill some other requests while I was there. When looking through the photo requests, I saw some were quite old, by 4 years!!! And there were around 200 at the time. I have found the cemetery is not as far away as I had thought so for some of the walking I am trying to get in, my husband and I have been frequenting there, hoping to get these old requests filled. So, I am very glad I could help out. If there are any others you need help with, let me know and I will try my best to fulfill.

Thanks for finding the Elgetis on this summer-like day. I looked around during Winter when in town. Cemetery owner joked I'd have to get a shovel to remove snow. I wonder where Theresa (nee Glaub) Elgeti is resting. Hugo's wife. Thanks. She's not at Valhalla Cemetery down the road, where her parents and brother are.

Hi Judy,

Thank you so much for taking photos of their grave marker. I wouldn't have all the information or photos I have if it weren't for you.

Thank you for finding Charles's (AKA Carl) headstone. Perhaps his relatives including my great aunt Theresa don't have head stones. I spoke with the cemetery staff when I was there in the winter, and they confirmed the burials.

Thanks for adding better photos than the ones I snuck in as the rain was starting. I did not request new pictures and have no idea who may have requested them. I am always up for getting the best photo possible, even lighting is huge.

Actually, would it be okay to leave the labeled photo on his page? It really help me to see and understand their burial placements better. If not, I'll download a copy. =)
