Edmundson Family Reunion
I am reaching out to all Edmundsons regarding a reunion. Another cousin and I are in the initial planning stages now. We are not sure whether we will do it this summer or next, but we have created a Facebook page for the event. It will be nothing fancy, but we hope to share stories, photos and other items of interest for the Edmundsons from the McKeesport or Pittsburgh area (and beyond). If you have ANY interest at all in the family, please join. Make a comment on how you are related or why you are interested. Thanks, Jim Edmundson.

p.s. If you know of any related Edmundsons, pass this info about the reunion to them.

RE: Infant of Chas. and Gesina Woltzen Stimpert
I added the infant Stimpert b and d 1-5-1912 and linked to Charles and Gesina. I know 100% that this is their child from the church records and while I did not enter a cemetery I did note in the bio my thoughts. I couldn't stand it anymore not having that child linked to his/her family.

Had to go back and check my records and I do not know where the St Paul came in as they are in St. Peters I think. This infant I think is probably there? I have to do more checking as I had someone checking church records for me.

RE: Infant of Chas. and Gesina Woltzen Stimpert
Had to re-read that and I was wrong. This child was buried in St. Paul and I said his father and grandparents were buried here but they were all buried in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery, not St. Paul.

I think at one time I knew the history of these two churches and now I'll have to go back and fine it.

The church records of St. Peter also show the death of Albert Eden Woltzen on Oct. 7, 1892 but I cannot read the cause of death, may be lung fever.

It looks like Aaltje and Tjebbe are buried in St.Paul and maybe they buried the Stimpert infant there to be near great grandparents? This too would explain why they didn't move the infant with Charles when he went to Sleepy Eye?

RE: Infant of Chas. and Gesina Woltzen Stimpert
I do have this infant in my family book but not where this infant is buried. His father, Charles Stimpert was buried in the Saint Peter Lutheran Cemetery in 1934 but was disinterred and buried with his his wife, Gesina, on May 9, 1974 in Home Cemetery, Sleepy Eye Brown County, Minnesota.

Both Charles and Gesina's parents are buried in this same cemetery in Illinois as are there but sure you know that.

I had wondered why when they took Charles to rebury him in Sleepy Eye, whey they didn't take this infant too but of course, no answer. It could be the children didn't know about this infant?
