Bio and Links
Bio Photo Currently I am the Executive Director of the Casey Family Assn. Inc.; compiling and researching the Casey family history since 1992, and personally since circa 1982.

Our particular Clan Casey, even prior to 1725, when it first arrived on American shores, has been predominately Scots-Irish Protestants in faith and loyalties. No offense to Casey clans of other persuasions.

US Navy veteran: CTR3 (Communications Technician, R-brancher), USN (1967-1971). I'm looking for any and all former NSG Hakata, Japan CTs.

I support transfers to known relatives! After all, who is better qualified to manage a memorial than someone with a caring, kinship interest. However, please be somewhat specific in your requests. "This is a relative's memorial" will not suffice in the future. If you're only third cousins, five times removed, please just let me know. I'll probably transfer. Unfortunately, it only takes a few to make the majority of good contributors look bad.

And please let me know if you wish any of my photos removed. Especially the temporary grave markers, in lieu of permanent.

Stop by and pay a visit to my hero dad, Sgt. Raymond L. Casey.

"Our Country! In her intercourse with foreign nations may she always be in the right; but right or wrong, our country!" Stephen Decatur.

Okay, thanks for looking. I will go to the library, which has more extensive death records. They may list her parents. For some reason, I cannot find this family on the 1910 census. I just hate to have memorials for little kids and not have them linked to their parents.

RE: TEEHEE
No need for me to manage these FindAGrave memorials. Joyce is very distantly related to my husband, Mike Brown, who was born in Jefferson Co, IL. The connection is through Joyce's father's mother, Elsie Hawkins (1880-1956), who was also born in Jefferson Co, IL. I wish I knew where Joyce's father was buried in Utah so I could provide a link to him too.
I am working on a project for the Claybourn Genealogical Society. You can learn more about Joyce's ancestors and other relatives on this page of their website.

RE: TEEHEE
Joyce Eileen Williamson is the daughter of Norman Edward Williamson, born 8/13/1911 in Rice Co, KS and died 9/1982 in Salt Lake City, UT. He married Zelma Lorena Holshouser on 10/19/1929 in Jasper Co, MO. They lived in Coffeyville and had two children, Joyce and her brother John Edward Williamson (1934-1996). In the 1940 census, the two children are living with their mother in Coffeyville and she is listed as widowed. But she is divorced because her husband ran off to Utah and married Annie Elizabeth Joseph (1919-2001)in Emery, UT in 1938. Joyce has at least one half-sister, Norma Ann, born in Carbon Co, UT in 1940. Around 1943 Lorena married Peter M Mickelson (1906-1953) and moved to Coos Bay, OR with him. After his death, she moved back to Coffeyville for several years, then later moved to Montgomery Co, KS where she died in 1991.

You are welcome, but I have a question. Did Hazel have a sister named Myrtle Ackart, born 1905, died 1914? I take care of a memorial for this little girl and would like to link her to her parents. I cannot find her on the 1910 Oklahoma census.

Transfer
Thanks ever so much Mike for the transfer. I used to be a member of the Casey Family and received a news letter. My husband's grandmother's line goes back to the Beckhams.
