Haverhill, MA
any idea if there was a particular cemetery associated with the winter street church?

.............................

Hi Kent,

There are many many cemeteries in Haverhill (and in all of these towns for that matter), and what used to be the separate town of Bradford which has been annexed by Haverhill. I have only been to a few specific cemeteries in Haverhill and do not know anything about Winter Street Church. Linwood or the ancient" Pentucket Cemeteries could be associated with Winter Street. I live down in the southern part of Andover, so I do not know Haverhill well. You may want to try the Historical Society, but I can tell you that Pentucket Cemetery is the oldest I know of in Haverhill and I see it's near Winter Street.

Best,
John G.

Just uploaded photo of subj grave marker and also his spouse Lizzie 120142176. He has a separate grave marker. FYI, note that there is a Maggie C. 1854-1925 inscribed on his marker, which is probably a 2nd wife. I sent this same public msg to the contributor of Lizzie's memorial. Thanks.

I may have found the stone but it is covered in ice at the moment so quite unreadable. I'll check closely in the Spring or earlier if the weather cooperates. thank you.

Denman Transfers
I fixed the name and death date for James and transferred the several that I had to you as well as the infant Young who is in the same lot. If someone could do a rubbing of the marker you might be able to get more info. Glad I could help.
