I grew up in East Texas and graduated from The University of Texas, BBA 1971. I served in the U. S. Army Finance Corps for several years after college. I am a retired insurance executive and my wife and I have two children and four grandchildren.|
I have loved family history all my life and have pursued that love to varying degrees over the years. I am a direct descendant of at least one veteran of the revolutionary war, several civil war veterans, and WWI and WWII veterans.
I am happy to make corrections and transfers within the site guidelines. Please use the memorial's edit tab to make suggestions and requests.
Steve Pence, Waco, Texas.

Thank you so very much for fulfilling the request for the pictures of the stones mentioned above. My co-researcher, Judy Curbow and I are finding Waco is very accommodating with genealogy researchers. Many thanks.
PS: We feel the baby was moved to this plot after the mother, Mary A.Abbott died. Can you tell me if any records of a transfer exists? And would it say where it came from?

Thank you so much for adding a larger picture of William E Rodgers' headstone at the cemetery in Waco. I deeply appreciate this! Had plans to stop by there myself last Sunday on my way home from Austin, but it was raining too hard. I can't complain one bit though...we definitely needed the rain. :) Thanks again! Teresa
