Bio Photo I have been doing research for over 35 yrs. I am interested in the Farley,Jaquis,Cram,Fletcher,Allen families from the Adirondack area of New York State, and the northern part of Vt. My Husband Carl Sorensen is my photograper also. We really love searching cemeteries, and find it very interesting.

The gravestone picture you uploaded is attached to the wrong person.

Samuel D Beardsley Grave Site
Hi Jayne-
Thank you for posting the picture of Samuel D. Beardsley's grave site. For some reason I cannot zoom in on the picture of the actual headstone. I can zoom in on the picture of the entrance to the cemetery. Do you know why this is?
Thank you again,
Karl

Stoddard & Cole
Thank you so much for the closeups of their facets of the large family stone. And the individual unusual cross for daughter Phebe is stunning. Did it have specific dates on it to match it with daughter Phebe or (I am missing Rev. John Stoddard's wife's grave - she is Phoebe Northrup Stoddard) could it belong to her mother Phoebe?? This is so much help to sort out this part of our family - thank you!

Re: Rev John Stoddard
Memorial #78303824. I don't see his name on the headstone - I think it is the stone for Chauncy (see previous note)

Cornelia Emma Elmore Goodrich Stoddard
You write on the photo for memorial #78303662 "Stoddard monument. listed on the front is Cornelia and husband John". I don't think your photo says Cornelia nor John. I read Chauncey and Matilda Arnold (see photo on memorial #78303713 which is the same gravestone as the photo you took but engraving is more legible). If, indeed, there is a side to this gravestone that says Cornelia, it would be great if you could upload that photo to this memorial. Unfortunately, I think that you should delete the photo you uploaded so we can try to get one that says Cornelia or "C. E. S." as the headstone transcription says. Her husband is Chauncey Stoddard Jr, not a John. (I am sorry that I took so long to catch up with this upload.) Thank you, Janice

RE: Olive LaForce
Jayne, I am retired and a snowbird. We live in South Hero,VT in the summer and Ocala,FL in the winter. My Mother was an Abare and all of her family were French-Canadian. Abare, Bissonnette,Laforce,Labounty. Most of the families immigrated to Clinton County Ny. Mostly in the Peru area. The Abares moved to Charlotte,VT in the early 1900's and that is where my Mother was from. Are any of these families in your Tree.
Thanks again John
