I have been a family history hobbyist for about 40 years, since college days. Interest in, and respect for my ancestors and their accomplishments are what inspire my research. I believe those of us privileged to inherit a good name, and a family legacy of achievement in face of adversity, have an obligation to pass that legacy -- and its positive example -- on to our own descendants. And I believe we do our descendants a personal favor in preserving the names, information, and faces of those who have gone before, so they may have an appreciation of their sturdy roots and become inspired by it.
Family names I research include: Downen, Valentin, Klope, Moses White, Crocker, Keller (Southern IL); and Branstetter, Gilbert, Hargrove, Crider (Southern MO)
RE: Moses White Hi Robert. I saw the info for Moses White. I don't know if you are still intrrested in the White family, but I will continue in case other people are out there researching the White family I am the daughter of Marjorie Ann White. She is the daughter of Emily Dorothea Snider White and John Riley White. John R. White was the son of Ai White and Miriam White, etc. I respect and appreciate your info. My mother and my aunt tried for years to learn more about Moses but always hit a wall. Unfortunately that was before the Internet! Best wishes, Laura
Oh well, isn't family history fun? No problem with the BROWN family. Keep on researching. You never know where these guys will pop up again. :) Be sure to let me know if I can help in any way. Happy Hunting... Sherry
BROWN family Hi Robert, Please give me a few days to answer your inquiry - I've had a family emergency and a close family member in the hospital. I've got to get my head back in the genealogy groove. Regards, Sherry SVSHall@gmail.com
RE: Hargrove Family Yes, I am related to the Hargrove family through Eva Pascoe who married Clyde Chilon Hargrove. I will be happy to look at your information on the Hargrove family and if possible include it on their memorials.
Elizabeth Sala Brown 1818-1907 Noticed that you contributed her picture. I would like to know where you got it as she is my ggg grandmother. My grandfather was Roy G. Brown, son of William. Thanks, Cheryl Swanson
