I am a retired US Naval Officer. My family and I live in CT.Using this site has enhanced my ability to search for and honor my ancestors. I have been able to see photographs of graves that I have not been able to visit. Using and this site, I have been able to trace my roots to several soldiers of the American Revolutionary war, early american settlers and even back to the Mayflower! My wife and I have been taking pictures of graves in our area for other people, to "pay it forward" and help others find their connections as well.

RE: Benjamin Barnard - Mayflower Connection
In working on a query from another relative I came up with the latest Barnard in our tree---Lucinda Barnard(1767-1810)---she was my Gr Gr Gr Grandmother. Bob in Boise.

RE: Benjamin Barnard - Mayflower Connection
They are both in my family tree. So--yes we are cousins. My sister and I are currently reconnecting with our Beard Relatives from the Hagerstown/Economy Indiana area. Sharing photos and stories. My sister always reminds me of the 6 degrees of separation rule--it seems to hold true no matter where you travel. Thanks for the response. Bob in Boise, Idaho.

Ernest Rogers--Thank you!
Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to take the picture of Ernest's grave for me. My significant other and his mother will be greatly appreciative. I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you!
