I grew up in Maine, and now live in NH. The main goal of my cemetery visits is finding my ancestors and their collateral families, as well as seeking out the burial places of the soldiers from the 27th Maine Volunteers. I will also photograph all known Civil War veterans within the cemeteries I walk and, being the historian for NALF (National Association of Leavitt Families), I'm also looking for all Leavitt graves out there!|
See you in the graveyards!

Thank you for attaching Ralph's parents to his memorial. Also, thanks for putting in one he died of.

|Peter||RE: Albert and Jennie Amazeen|
I looked at the memorials for Albert and Jennie. You were talking about the picture of their headstone? I thought you were talking about the pictures of them. A couple of years ago someone from findagrave.com took a picture of their stone. It may have been you. Recently I deleted Albert, Jennie and a couple other of my memorials to start from scratch and rewrite them. I saved the picture of the Amazeen stone. I've had people copy pictures of mine. I see them on other sites. They never asked me if it was okay with me. As a rule if I need to copy someone else's pictures I ask them. I give the person who took the picture credit. Where it was awhile back that the picture of the Amazeen picture was taken I couldn't remember who took it. It sounds like you're the one who took it. What I'll do is delete the picture of the Amazeen stone that I added to Albert and Jennie's memorial. I'll also delete it from the memorials for John and Thelma Regan. If you want to attach the picture of their stone that would good. I apologize for the confusion about the picture of the Amazeen stone.

I don't know where you got the pictures of Albert and Jennie Amazeen. Their grandson Richard gave them to me some time ago. Were these two of any relation to you? Have a nice day.

#20907112: is it possible that the year is 1789, rather than 1787? Just curious

This is the e-mail I received from FInd a Grave:
Find A Grave contributor CAS56 has made a suggestion to you regarding your Find A Grave memorial for Mehitable Towle.

This memorial is a duplicate of Find A Grave Memorial# 93591906. She was Mehitable Dalton Towle SMITH. She was the d/o William Towle and Elizabeth Prescott (Elizabeth's mother's name was Mehitable Dalton). Mehitable Dalton Towle married Stephen Smith in 1799.

Thank you for your recent e-mail to me regarding my 3rd Great Grandmother. I currently live in Northern, Baja, Mexico, but was born in Haverhill, Mass. My parents moved to southern California in 1953 when I was 7 years old.
You placed a great photo of Rev Samuel Jones Spalding gravestone on Memorial# 102537756. But that memorial is a duplicate incorrectly spelled. (I have informed that manager, john gibney.)
Could you place that photo on the correct memorial# 85285212 and delete the other one?
