DAY GUTHRIE ADAMS GUFFEY COOPER WILLMON ZILAFRO PENDERGRASS HALSTEAD MCKINNEY PATTERSON STEVENSON ALLEN TODD |
***These are my family surnames in order of significance. If any of them pertain to your own history then I'd definitely love to hear from you. Leave me a message and I'll promptly respond.***
I'm not going to list a bunch of ridiculous rules like some of the many grave collectors do on here.
Instead, I'm going to just tell you that I want to help as many people as I can while making these memorials as accurate as possible.
I'll transfer ANY GRAVE that you're more related to than myself. Plain and simple. I don't care about silly rules.
I'll pretty much add any edit or additional information you ask of me.
I'll also gladly add any obituary that you want me to. This FAG rule annoys me deeply.
MY GOAL here on findagrave.com is to:
PRESERVE & HONOR my own ancestors and as many others as possible along the way.
Please feel free to CONTACT ME on here at any time. I love interacting with others. I don't understand why some people IGNORE you. I always respond to messages.
If any of my memorial's need: LINKS, UPDATES, IMPROVEMENTS...PLEADE SEND THEM TO ME. I definitely want to know. .
Like so many on here, I AM NOT a GRAVE COLLECTOR, I WILL TRANSFER MANY MEMORIALS. I'm not going for any kind of record on here. If I have a memorial of your relative (OTHER THAN MY OWN), I will gladly give it to you. Shame on the people who don't.
I was born in St. Louis County, Missouri in 1978 and raised close to the same area. Like so many of the people living near the Gateway to the West, our friends, family and the St. Louis Cardinal's Baseball has always been a way of life.
Proudly, both of my parents have a southern heritage. Their history and family folklore's are rich. My dad's grandfather John Henry Day was born in Tennessee in 1870. As a young farmer and in hope of improving his life, settled in southeast Missouri around the Twentieth century, making me a fourth generation Missourian. One of my paternal great-great-grandmothers, Mary E. Black was said to be a Native American Witch , living in the bootheel of Missouri (you gotta love family stories). Mary's legend is still talked about amongst numerous descendants of hers.
My mother and her large family of 11 siblings come from Northeast Alabama. All 4 of her grandparents, Syrous and Rosie (Helton) Guffey and James "Pomp" and
Joanna (Willmon) Guthrie, can easily prove their roots trace back there as far as Two Centuries ago. Like my great-great-great-great-grandparents Ephraim Monroe and Sarah (Underwood) Guffey. Ephraim Guffey, a veteran of the War of 1812, was believed to be the first Guffey to settle in this part of Alabama. His son, Ephraim Underwood Guffey and grandson, Ephraim Berry Guffey are buried nearby in Guffey Cemetery.

I have no doubt about any correction you send me. You are a pretty fair researcher. I give you the benefit of the doubt always.
Heavens, it can always be changed back, right.
You can imagine how many edits I get in a day. It is all I can do to try and halfway check them out.
At least I can approve yours with confidence.
You are one of my true find a grave friends.
I love your attitude! I am the same way. Some only go by the rules they want to, just pick and choose! That annoys me... And then there are the ones that only want MORE....
I am also on here to honor our family and friends.
I wish more were like you!

For some reason Ron & Peggy Tedder transfered this memorial to me. Since you are the original creator and I do not know and not related to the deceased I am Transfering it back to you.
