For some reason my profile does not have anyway to contact me. Probably I did not check something, but I can't figure out what. So use the edit tab on one of my memorials to get ahold of me.

I hate to ask this, but would it be possible for you to forward me the message that I sent you? I seem to have lost the Obituary and don't want to have to re-type it.

Dear Ms. Sample:
With regard to your request to "turn her [Maria C Rudulph] photo right side up and repost", I don't know what you are talking about. The only photo is of her headstone. The stone (an obelisk) has been knocked over, so is laying on the ground, but the inscription is oriented right-side-up in the photo.

glad to. Always happy when memorials are connected with friends and family.

for not spending a lot of time verifying your question. If you had read my contributor page you would have seen I was away from my computer for sometime. A very serious illness ending in DEATH was occupying my time. Much more important than a small error in a death date. However, it is obvious you don't read the contributor page.

You are very welcome. I am sorry that there was no grave marker.

I did a littlie checking and found a listing in Chambers Cemetery. There is a slight difference in the spelling. That being ll at the end on the request vs l in the cemetery listing. But the dates match. And his Fingagrave page already has a picture.

Grave in Lakota cemetery.
I don't know if there is a headstone or not. I did hear that a few months ago the cemetery was vandalized, so maybe there was a stone and it was damaged. That is such a shame to dishonor these wonderful Indian people who helped the first settlers coming to Michigan. Thanks for trying to locate it.
